Great bar! It's like a hideaway place. The theme is a speakeasy from back in the early 1930's. The flatscreen TVs have current programming but are in black & white to continue the feel of times past. The male bartender was very knowledgeable about all the spirits they carry. I had the It's the Berries cocktail. Lots of higher end bourbons & whiskeys...also scotches, gins & vodkas. Just some small plate items for food (for now anyway). The 2 restrooms are both private unisex bathrooms. We had stopped in after visiting the Rear End Gastropub & Garage a half block away where we ate dinner & a couple drinks before our nightcap at Bitter End. If the green light is on above the door then you know they're open....
Read moreSeems out of place for Etna. Perhaps a little too high-end. One old fashion with eagle rare was $22 after tax. Don't get me wrong, it was good but I'd rather go to Industry in Lawrenceville for those prices.
Inital service was good but took about 30 minutes after I was finished for the bartender to ask how I was doing. At that point I just got the check because I needed to get food and their options are more for snacking. Granted it was during a busy Friday evening and the bartenders were doing their best to keep up, but still. Staff more bartenders!
