Great bar! It's like a hideaway place. The theme is a speakeasy from back in the early 1930's. The flatscreen TVs have current programming but are in black & white to continue the feel of times past. The male bartender was very knowledgeable about all the spirits they carry. I had the It's the Berries cocktail. Lots of higher end bourbons & whiskeys...also scotches, gins & vodkas. Just some small plate items for food (for now anyway). The 2 restrooms are both private unisex bathrooms. We had stopped in after visiting the Rear End Gastropub & Garage a half block away where we ate dinner & a couple drinks before our nightcap at Bitter End. If the green light is on above the door then you know they're open. (wink, wink)😉

Really nice little space with a super chill vibe in Etna. It reminds me of a jazz club or speakeasy. Good cocktail list with a few domestic beers available. Also had some snacks and dessert. I am more of a beer drinker but really enjoyed the space. The upper part was like a nice little lounge. I would like to go back again. I got a customized cocktail with one of my favorite amaros. They have a large selection of liquors and liqueurs. The TVs were set to black and white to match the space.

Seems out of place for Etna. Perhaps a little too high-end. One old fashion with eagle rare was $22 after tax. Don't get me wrong, it was good but I'd rather go to Industry in Lawrenceville for those prices.

Inital service was good but took about 30 minutes after I was finished for the bartender to ask how I was doing. At that point I just got the check because I needed to get food and their options are more for snacking. Granted it was during a busy Friday evening and the bartenders were doing their best to keep up, but still. Staff more bartenders!

-1 star for slow service, -0.5 for lame food options and -0.5 for being a little too high-end...
