Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Euclid

I had a coupon for a free sandwhich and drumstick. So my fiance and I ordered that along with an extra sanwhich and some popcorn shrimp. We get there and were informed that they were out of chicken sandwhiches and would not have them again for hours. (How do you rin out of a key staple menu item when the menu isnt even that large? They are always out of chicken sandwhiches here...) They offered us 2 full meals with other items for the trouble and we accepted. When we got the food, we drove home only to realize that they had only given us one of the 2 meals. I called them to complain, and the guy that answered the phone claimed that i was calling thw wrong store... that they had never ran out of chicken sandwhiches so i must me mixed up... So, we angrily drove back to store to get the missing meal.. after it was sorted out and while waiting for them to bring the food out to us.. an EMPLOYEE comes running out of the Store holding a glass bottle up anove her head, charging at one of the cars. She slammed the bottle into the windshield of someones car, sending shards of glass at my fiance and myself (shattering the guys windshield).... thankfully the glass only hit us and didnt cut us.. I could not believe what i was seeing.... I couldnt even make this stuff up.. they can handle their childish grudges on their own time. The food here is great... but the employees and management need a major change... I will not give business to a place that hires people that put their customers in danger.. I haven't been to Popeyes in quite some time and just happened by about four of the going down Euclid Ave. from the East Cleveland border to Euclid. (Odd how you rarely see them in more diverse neighborhoods or is it.) So after the third pass we decidied to go to the Euclid store. I have always loved the red beans amd rice and had heard the hype about the chicken sandwich. Sis ordered 3 finger meal..they only had lemonade for a drink as strange as that sounds.. while I got the famous sandwich with a side of rice n beans and slaw. Since it has been years I was unsure when I saw a choice of regular or spicy. Popeyes always used to be spicy and that was the only choice so I ordered regular. To my dismay there was no spice BUT to be honest I did not ask so fie on me. The sandwich was just ok. No way do I get the hype. If I had waited as people were at first, I would have been irate to say the very least. Chicken and some parts quite unappetizingly hard, on a bun w mayo and 2 pickles. Yeah..nothing great. Red beans and rice..yep still banging my friends. Also the slaw never disappoints. Sis said the tenders were..wait for it...tender and tasty. The mustard sauce..she said w a tad of horseradish she suspected..was quite good. All in all I will return but will stay away from the sandwich.. Maybe a nice piece of swiss or cheddar would give it something. Placed an order in the app for pick up at the Euclid location (not our normal location). Our order came to $40.43 and was put in for drive through pick up. When my husband got there to pick it up, they gave him much less food than what we ordered and not the correct items. He went back and told them it was the wrong order but because the name on the order was Erica H. they INSISTED it was our order, even though this order was only for $26.28, my name was not spelled correctly (Ericka) AND it was an Uber Eats order! My husband tried several times to tell them this was not the right food but they LITERALLY would not give him our CORRECT order! I called and tried to get it corrected or get a credit or something and the supposed "manager" (who sounded like a kid) insisted that I was wrong and apparently there's was only ONE Erica H. who could've possibly ordered. I explained the dollar amount was wrong, I explained the order was wrong, told him I did not order from Uber Eats and he still INSISTED THAT I WAS WRONG! Then he hung up on me! On top of ALL of that, the chicken was dry, overcooked and gross and the mashed potatoes looked they had a dead bug in it!! We ended up just throwing everything out and going to get food someplace else. I contacted customer service and made a formal complaint and we'll see if it's corrected but I will NEVER go to that location ever again and I strongly advise if you want good food, good service and the food you ACTUALLY ordered, that you don't go...
