We don't drink, but I heard the food was good here so we came on a Saturday evening around 6:30pm. Parking: not as bad as everyone makes it seem. It is just a single row that goes straight down, lining their building, and then another row along a fence, not a typical parking spot but indeed their own lot. So yes, you can walk a distance to the place If it is busy but only a couple minutes and it's paved, so not like you are tripping on anything. Seating: it was seat yourself. There was 1 table inside and 2 outside. Being a nice day, we decided to go outside. The table was wobbly, but nothing we couldn't deal it. Chairs are decent. I didn't hurt sitting on them. The menus are just paper already on the table with the napkins and silverware out and exposed. You can scan for a digital menu as well. Service: we got greeted with water pretty early on, and I guess you can fill that water yourself per seeing other guests do it. She suggested menu items since we had never been there and was pretty attentive for also working behind the bar. Appetizers: blt perogies and mozarella round were what we got. The cheese pull on the mozzarella was amazing, although be careful because they come out HOT, and they do excrete some hot liquid when you open them up. The perogies were on a WHOLE new level. Crispy on the outside and that mashed potatoe on the inside along with that crispy bacon, lettuce, tomato, and the sauce really pulled it together. I want these in my life daily. Entrees: I went with the waitress suggestion of the blackened chicken beer Mac, which was just amazing. Make sure you're a beer cheese lover like me though. Brocoli in the meal was even great. The chicken cooked perfectly and flavored great. Bacon and crumbles gave it a nice texture. He had the 3 sausage dinner with the curry potatoes. Again, curry is not everyone's spice choosing, so make sure you like it. We like curry and he was very impressed by his meal. Even down to the picked onions on top. He was wishing there was more sauerkraut but no star knocked off because it's a side, not the main attraction on the dish. Sides: hard to choose what you want because everything seemed good, but we chose the rosemary fries and yes it is $5 which seems like a lot BUT it's a large basket and we ended up sharing it and taking some home. He actually isn't a fan of fries and even said these were good. Sadly, we had no room for dessert, but we will be coming back. We also aren't drinkers, so sorry I can't review any alcohol. 2 appetizers, 2 entrees, and 1 side came to around $66. I will be coming back because I did want to order other items. It really is hard to choose since a good 80% of the menu...
Read moreI liked the Pilsner on offer and the shrimp were good, if somewhat overcooked. But $15 for six small shrimp is expensive. Both the shrimp and vegetables were spicy. I needed something to cut the heat; the plate wasn’t well-balanced. The tomato bisque was really gross, it was the texture of applesauce, grainy, and very salty. No one came by to see how our food was so it was at least 20 minutes before I was able to tell one of the servers. I am still confused as to why the soup was not comped as I didn’t eat it and the server seemed aware of the issue.
We had trouble finding the place, very small sign from street and not illuminated. Parking is confusing. Not sure if I was at risk of being towed or not, tbh. There’s no waiting area at the entrance or hostess. When I arrived I was standing in the entrance area waiting for my friend to get there. No-one greeted me and I was ignored for about 15 minutes, at which point an employee comes up to me and brusquely asks ‘are you coming or going?” ‘I’m waiting for my friend…’ I tell her. She responds by asking again if I’m “coming or going” in a very hostile way . It was sincerely bizarre ! I felt so unwelcome! My friend got there at that moment, and the employee told us to sit wherever we want. But why didn’t they just say that to me when I got there or when they 1st approached me ? Seat yourself, fine. But there’s no signage saying that, I don’t know how you run your restaurant, and it’s the employees job to tell me how you do in a hospitable way. The patio is probably really nice here in the summer as long as the exhaust fumes from the shipping facilities around aren’t too much. I count on coming back for beer and maybe a more substantial food offering like a sandwich and see if the portions...
Read moreDidn’t even know this opened up until someone mentioned it to me. Strange. Didn’t see a single piece of marketing for this seeing as how it’s already a well established restaurant in the flats.
Was excited to try it because the flats location is one of my favorite restaurants.
Parking situation is not great. I understand it’s in an industrial area and they opened up here primarily for brewing space but I think they need to figure out a way to improve parking.
Doing a dry January so didn’t have any drinks just food. I had the CH burger which was good but it didn’t come with fries. $14 for a burger with no fries is pretty steep for this area. Adding fries was $5. They did give you a lot of fries and they were actually very good fries but this price doesn’t make sense for a brewpub in Euclid.
Service was okay. Food came out at a reasonable time but it took forever to get checks. Maybe it’s cause we weren’t drinking so lower priority.
It’s still relatively new so hopefully some of these things can be improved on but I think there’s a lot of promise here for this location to succeed in Euclid. They’ve come at a time where a lot of Euclid mainstays are out of the game like Paragon(for now) and Great Scott. So it’s a great time to capitalize and take on the regulars from these other...
