Abby's Legendary Pizza — Restaurant in Eugene

I hate to give such a low review, as I have been going here for years and have absolutely loved eating here. After a pretty long day yesterday, my wife and I decided to get a cheat meal and grabbed a pizza to go, thinking we'd have a quick meal (with no cooking yay!) and early night to bed. Nope! Shortly after eating the pizza, everything (I mean everything; I'll spare the graphics) in my body decided to make a quick and violent exit. My night wasn't so much enjoyable after that. This morning my wife decided she wanted to join in the fun, and as such, her and her toilet have become quite intimate friends after today. Now we've both been in the food industry in the past, and clearly know when we've been fed something that's not quite up to par. We don't want any sort of recourse, refund, or "I'm so sorry...", rather this is intended to shine some light on what I am certain are sub-par food handling practices, in the hopes that others do not share our experience after eating at this establishment. It is not at all difficult to provide a quality product, it's simply a matter of someone paying attention and actually giving a damn. With all of the plight facing the food and hospitality industry these days, I would have thought that a local upstanding company might be a shade bit better than their corporate counterparts, alas it seems the IDGAF plague spreads...

We had a birthday for my sister Lucy!! There had to be at least 30 people or more ! I thought the pizza was pretty good!! Their chopped salad was fantastic!! It's a nice place!! They have a video poker room- 21 and over. Lots of winners come out of there. It's nice in there!! They have some games. My issue was every single game was out of order. One employee told us they belonged to a private company so they couldn't do anything if u lose your money. I didn't like that u.couldnt just pop in quarters. They need to make sure that the owners are doing their job by making sure the machines are working. We had alot of disappointed kids and adults!! Here comes the cringing part of my review!! So I'm sorta wierd when it comes to the restrooms!! Maybe it's not wierd actually!! I took a few pics before I left!!! This is a big company with different places. The toilet seat was dreadful. As much money as they make, how much is a toilet seat?? $ 20 or so!! Cmon Abbys don't be legendary for having a grossly stained toilet seat!! Ewe!! You have this clean dining place then you have to use the restroom. I held it til I got...

I have been going to Abby's Legendary Pizza since I was in high school (1973-1976). Abby's is still a Santa Clara favorite.

The restaurant is clean and the fireplaces add a relaxing ambiance. Bathrooms are decent. They are kept clean and smell clean.

Staff members are friendly, overall. The staff makes an attempt to get food out as quickly as they can. Busy nights make it a bit difficult to be real fast, but that's how it is in most pizza parlors and restaurants.

There are two sections, giving guests ample room to sit. Wooden tables with benches run in the center of the building, while booths line the outer section. Great family restaurant with plenty of room, televisions, fireplaces and a small arcade room.

The pizza is well made. Fried potatoes are awesome and one of my favorites is the garlic Parmesan cheese bread. There are salads and a salad bar, chicken wings, fried chicken, mozzarella cheese sticks and plenty more to please everyone in the family or group.

Prices are actually a bit cheaper than most pizza parlors in Eugene.

I would definitely recommend Abby's...
