Tasty, delicious, authentic Indonesian food is served at Bakoel Djakarta! I tried the nasi campur rendang, bakmi ayam, gado gado, tahu isi, lumpia, and pastel sayur. Each dish was made with love and had the flavors, textures, and appearance of Indonesian food. The sambal and peanut sauce are wonderful accompaniments to the dishes. Bakoel Djakarta has the most authentic and yummy traditional Indonesian food! I am so glad to find this hidden gem in Eugene! I was trying Indonesian food for the first time and it was great! My son loved chicken skewers (satay) and said it was the best tasting chicken in his life.
