I am a solo driver in this life and I work full time "as a delivery driver", it's not a side gig. My time is money and I am just as important as those customers you have in line. I don't have time to wait until you clear the line of cars in your car pile up, I am your coworker not being able to help you succeed when I have to wait. Unfortunately, I will (and other drivers may also) just start ignoring the orders to Gotcha after losing money. A majority of restaurants have orders done or nearly done when we pick up, And honestly anything over 5 minutes wait time is stifling MY business as well. Try prioritizing your orders and put a number on them in big bred marker 1, 2, 3....make it a thing to get started prior to opening and stop shuffling orders around ( I see it happening a lot from where I stand!) Then work the orders in the order they came in, regardless if it's big order or you don't have everything. Try making bacon the day before and just heating it up. One less thing on that grill!
You have got big fast, that's great! And there are too many people in that box, too much time spent running back and forth for food and not prioritizing orders as they come in is slowing you down. Have one person assigned as an order taker and runner, not allowed in the box so you have room to move. Or perhaps, it's time to buy a REAL Restaurant with ample room, space to work, A REAL drive thru and store room attached.
One last thing, I see as an accident waiting to happen. Just suppose your grill catches fire? The customers in line are now trapped in fire too with no way out because all the other cars are packed up in front and they can't even pull forward or backwards fast enough to dodge the flames. That's just one scenario! You need perhaps move cart over and provide an exit for those in cars by your cart. Maybe move all those cars just sitting there by the building so people can park properly.
I sure you will succeed but help me to succeed to and get me my orders...
Read moreGive them a shot, for real. So I want everyone to keep in mind that I’m writing this review from the viewpoint of someone who is in the food service industry.
We pulled up and were about three cars back from the window. It was around midnight on a Friday and this place was busy. After a few minutes we get to the window and the gal (owner) running it is super personable and lets us know that it’ll be a few minutes. EVERY single person in that cart was hustling. Owners running food, another gal is completing the orders and there was a guy on the grill. We loved the wait honestly. The homie on the grill was forming those patties by hand (wearing gloves for all y’all who don’t understand food handling and freak out) with precision and pride. Loved seeing that because we knew right then they weren’t using premade frozen patties. Got our order in and the gal asked us to pull forward. No worries on our part. Owner brought the food out and thanked us for our patience.
Now to the food. We got 2 Deuce-Duece’s, fries and onion rings, all for $18! We’re from central Oregon and you can’t get one solid burger for $18, WITHOUT a side. Fries were standard shoestring fries, hell we sell the same ones, and were exactly what we expected. Onion rings were good, nice and crispy with plenty of onion in them. The burgers, solid AF. Great flavor, generous slice of tomato on there with their special sauce. Gooey cheese and seasoned meat. We will eat here again.
Bang for the buck 10 for 10. Food quality 10 for 10. Customer service 10 for 10.
Also, to the Grubhub driver that left a one star review…seriously pal. I hope they blocked your dumb a** from ever picking up there again. I’d of been a lot...
Read moreI ordered at the counter and waited quite a while (about 30 minutes) for my food to be ready, and I figured it was taking so long because there were so many internet and phone orders. I started to notice that people that also ordered at the counter were getting their food, and they had large bags!
I should have checked in on my order earlier, but I was tired. The staff explained that they accidently gave my order to someone that had the same name as me that had an internet order. Apparently, that person got lucky because I paid for more burgers and sides than they did. Anyway, it was an honest mistake, but surely there should be better control on verifying what people ordered.
I paid with a card, so I didn't bother asking for money back. I stuck around, and they put together my order in about two minutes anyway since it was dinner time and they had enough food going.
It would have been nice if they had given me a voucher or coupon for a free burger and fries, or two, but they just said they were sorry and that's it. Generally, in the service industry a restaurant or food cart offers something in addition to saying sorry. I mean, they were genuinely sorry and embarrassed, so I guess that's something.
The Deuce Deuce was excellent, and the onion rings were fine- way better than a fast food onion ring- and only $3.
So, I guess everything was great except for my food order being given away. Minor details.
Also, I award 1 star to my doppelgänger who accepted a heavy bag of food even though they apparently had a...
