I have never been to Graffiti Alley's Ciderlicious Cider Garden & Tap Cart. So, today I chose to check it out by going to Braised Restaurant Food Truck. The owner of Braised got me here by enticing me with his photo on Facebook, of a Homemade Corn Dog, paying Homage to the Lane County Fair. I haven't had a real Hand dipped Corndog in over 20 years. The ones I have had were always frozen boxed, yuck. This darn Corn Dog purt-near made me cry! It brought back so many County fair memories, Brownies little hut in Eugene & the original Pronto Pup. Memories all from my growing up days, memories of taking my kids to get a real hand dipped Corn Dog, or those delicious Waffle Dogs we used to get at all the Car Cruises, Show & Shines, Auto Swap Meets & such. Funny thing is, the Gentleman (Bob White), that owns this entire property all these Food Trucks are located on, I actually have known from the Classic Car, Cruises & Swap Meets, I used to attend in my 20's, when I owned Hot Rods & Classics. Ok, back to my review! The Gentleman Alan Fullerton who owns Braised, just came over & asked me if I could tell that my Corn Dog was Gluten Free! WHAT, WHAT, WHAT? No way, no how, would I ever have guessed. The batter was SO incredibly good, fluffy, not greasy, it didn't flake or crumble, it was cake like & so delightfully Corny! You like that? *wink* In the world of Corndogs, if your batter is dry & gritty like sand, that's not good. THIS Corndog batter was creamy, not dry, not gritty, it was like your Great Great Grammas old fashioned Cornbread, but without Gluten! My oh my. I told him he needs to leave his Corndogs on the menu forever! Now on to the Dog itself. I do not know anything about the Dog, lemme go ask, brb...ok it was a gluten free, Bar S smoked sausage, but VERY soon he is going to be making his own Slow Smoked Sausage in his onsite smoker, then using those to make his Corn Dogs! Oh ya, Ima be right here when that happens. So the Dog, actually was darn good for a commercial Dog. Undoubtedly, that was because it was dipped into the most amazing Homemade batter. Yes, giving props to Alan the owner of Braised, for creating his mouth watering Corn batter! Alright, now as if this Handmade yummy Corndog doesn't get you here, just go on Braised website, Facebook or Instagram & drool over the other dishes he makes!! WOWZA!! I am going to seriously go broke coming here to try all his dishes! I ordered my Corndog in a Basket deal with scrumptious Crinkle Cut Shoestring Fries. They were cooked to perfection, crispy yet bendable, my fave. They had a salt, parsley, type seasoning. Also of course Ketchup & Mustard came along for dipping. The Corndog itself felt like it weighed a pound. The mound of Fries was more than generous! All of this incredible deliciousness for only $10. Geez Louise, I am a full bellied happy Gal. Oh, & for my fans, not a sneeze happened, so NO funny stuff going on, quintuple Stars! Please come & meet this gracious Gentleman & try his tremendously yummy food. Don't cheat & bite the phone screen, lol...come on down & git yer eat ON here!!

Finally, a food truck with a homey feel! I got the Cottage pie: Tender braised beef with caramelized onions, carrots, peas then topped with mashed potatoes, a large piece of crispy cheese and a gravy that makes you remember grandma! Next a very hearty portion of Roasted green chili queso fries with pulled pork, was super flavorful and all melded together perfectly. Alan makes a homemade ginger ale with fresh ginger 🫚 it's so refreshing! Last but not least is the soothing, rich chocolate pudding with fresh whipped cream and gingerbread cookies made the meal complete. The customer service is on point, I will definitely be back for more!!!!

Had the special bbq sando tonight - gf with two giant gf onion rings on a gf free bun with fries, yum. The batter on the onion rings was thick and crispy and the sando also had a generous pile of meat...The fries are always deliciously crispy fried! I also wrassled a bite of the cottage pie (also gf!)... yummy melted cheese over smashed potatoes, buttery beef bites in a hearty gravy with carrots and peas; comfort. I'll definately be getting that one soon! I love all the gf options and especially the rotating gf specials!

I will plan to edit this review later after a 2nd attempt eating here... but it feels like there's a few kinks to be worked out. Pork sandwich - 5/10 - not a fan of ciabatta bread here. Ciabatta is hard to rip apart and the whole sandwich comes out the sides as you try and eat it. Pork itself was 6/10, could have been a little more shredded vs big chunks, charred pieces were super yummy. Needed more cabbage or larger variety of textures. Definitely could have used more onion crispies! Those were bomb on the couple bites I could taste them. Pork Mac - 6/10 - pretty good Mac, same comments about the Pork. Mac wanted more shred to the Pork. Crispy onions were awesome here as well. BBQ sauce - 5/10. Not enough kick/spice or unique flavor. I would LOVE to love this place based on its close proximity to river road!! Won't go again soon, but will try again after a couple weeks to see if kinks...

I never remember to take a picture of my food before I eat it because it’s SO GOOD I always just want to eat it immediately! On Thursdays the Italian Meatball Sub with crinkle fries is SO GOOD! No ketchup needed, dip your fries in the sauce! Friday they have $4 fish tacos that never disappoint. The food is truly delicious here every day they are open, and the desserts are always top notch! I especially love that I can order anything I want from the menu with no fear of wheat related illness because the whole menu is gluten/wheat free (you won’t know you’re eating something gf though! Typically gf breads are either dry or gummy but not the...
