My recent visit to Tacos Mex Birrieria for a late Sunday lunch was a delightful culinary escape in the heart of a bustling area where parking can be a bit tricky. Thankfully, despite the challenges with parking on a busy day, the dining experience itself was seamless.
I was greeted by quick and polite service. The menu offered a tempting array of choices, and I opted for a selection of tacos: Asada, Carnitas, Chorizo, and Al Pastor. Each taco proved to be a little above average compared to your typical street taco offerings, with the Chorizo taco standing out particularly. It was notably better than what I've encountered at other locations, packed with flavor and cooked to perfection.
The tacos at Tacos Mex Birrieria strike a pleasant balance between authentic taste, satisfying portion size, and very reasonable prices making them a solid choice for anyone in search of quality Mexican street food. The atmosphere is unpretentious and welcoming, ideal for a quick lunch or a casual meet-up with friends. If you find yourself nearby, it’s definitely worth navigating the parking challenge for a taste of their...

Read moreThis food truck is in a little fenced in "food court," but don't let it deter you! There are, I think, 6 parking spots, plus one handicapped spot in the fenced area. I asked for a recommendation for lunch and was offered what sounded like delicious offers, but decided on the birria burrito and a mandarin Jarrito to wash it down. It was huge! He gave me two jars of hot sauce to flavor it up, with an option for a much hotter sauce. I declined, but only because my heat tolerance isn't what it used to be. The burrito was filling, delicious, and hit the spot.
It was raining, but no worry, six feet from the truck was a heated party tent where I sat sheltered from the cold and rain. There was a Foosball table in there, so I can picture a laid-back experience when dining with friends!
No problem with easily recommending this...
