Café Yumm! is amazing. Food is practically all organic and everything is very fresh, chicken is amazing both grilled and southwest. Everyone is always super friendly at all the locations. My favorite and usual is the classic Yumm bowl, which comes with organic brown rice, organic southwest chicken, organic black beans, avocado, olives, diced tomatoes, yumm sauce, sour cream, shredded cheese and cilantro. When I get it to eat there, I make sure to mix it all up really well and it makes for a great healthy and savory, hearty meal that gives me tons of energy and good fats for a long day of work and most importantly it doesn't bog me down. The organic dark chocolate dipped cookies are INCREDIBLE. Try the molasses one. I also like their drink selection as they have fresh bottled rainwater, organic sparkling apple cider, good smoothie drinks, ginger beer and all fountain soda options. Their plate and silverware is also biodegradable and eco-friendly which is a big plus as far as why I choose to eat there instead of fast food. I usually have leftovers because the portions are a good size. So I can get a medium or large sized bowl and have two meals. But the small is perfect for an on the go, healthy lunch. Perfect size, and I'm not a small guy by any means. I would recommend Café Yumm! for absolutely any meal situation, really at any time. Breakfast, lunch or dinner. It's for sure one of...
Read moreAlthough this is a chain restaurant, I appreciate Cafe Yumms healthy take on fast food. They offer a wide variety of customization options making it possible for anyone to order something they like. I usually order an original bowl no protein, but this time threw a side of teriyaki chicken on top, the chicken was very chewy, but the flavor was good. I recommend ordering whatever bowl you want "on the greens" instead. Cafe Yumm offers vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options on the menu. This location specifically is very consistent with speed, quality, accuracy of order and customer service. Parking used to be a nightmare but since the construction of Willamette street it has gotten better. My favorite part about this location is the large outdoor and indoor dining areas! If you're looking for a fast, but healthy affordable meal on the go, Cafe Yumm is a...
Read moreI've always loved Cafe yumm and the yumm sauce It's been almost 15 years since I lived in Eugene and the cafe here still looks exactly the same and the menu is pretty much the same I got to say for a 10 to $12 bowl of rice they go pretty skimpy on the sauce I ordered extra sauce on mine and it still wasn't enough Something about it though it's really delish but it's kind of gone downhill I just started making my own yum sauce It's basically oil, nutritional yeast, garbanzos, garlic, and lemon. I had to start making my own because they use canola oil (gross) and I make mine with organic olive oil from Italy I understand that when they made the recipe 20 years ago nobody knew how gross canola oil was but I'm surprised they're still using it... That being said I would still go here but I'm not enamored with it like I used to be when I was a...
