Moved across the country to Eugene and was looking for a new go to pizza place. Decided to try Papa Murphy's and I gotta say I was extremely disappointed with the food.
First, I definitely didn't notice or misunderstood that they don't actually make the pizza. They give you the ingredients all prepared so all you have to do is throw it in the oven. I don't believe they actually cook any pizzas on site considering it smelled like nothing but raw dough and some other sick scent while in the store. When I went to pick up the order I figured wth I'll try it anyway because it might be worth it. I was extremely wrong.
Secondly, the ingredients were probably the cheapest you could get anywhere. The pepperoni I swear were the small sliced packages you could buy at the grocery store for cheap and the cheese was awful. The dough was not made on site it was unpacked as frozen dough that just needed to be defrosted and most definitely also very cheap quality. Even the garlic cheese bread was god awful. The only way to actually eat the cheese bread was to take off the cheese/garlic mixed mess. and just eat the slightly garlic'd bread. Still unable to finish eating any of this inedible mess.
Lastly, we got sick from eating this food it was that bad. I've never had an experience like this with any restaurant and this is literally the first review I've ever done. I don't know if all Papa Murphy's are like this and of course everyone has different tastes. So good luck if you want to give this place a shot and for those that go here already I don't know...
Read moreI had a horrible experience at the Olympic St. location. I canceled and went to the Coburg rd location. At Coburg Papa Murphy's I was able to place the same order and the girl who took my order gave an 8 dollar discount for the pizza's I was purchasing. Shoutout for her!!! While I waited for my pizza's to be ready I noticed the atmosphere, alot of employees were very very young and not so knowledgeable, while another associate looked homeless and not so clean, didn't even have a hair net on and her hair was everywhere. I waited about 20 minutes for 3 pizza's (which was normal). Once I got home to bake the pizza's, we realized that 1 was made incorrectly. Instead of going back, I modified the pizza myself to satisfy the family in a timely manner. All in all, not the best pizza ordering kind of day. I will never go back to the Olympic St. Location. But I will give Coburg road another chance. I hope those that work at that store read my review and really take away something to help them grow and become more efficient than the rest! Best of Luck...
Read moreOrdered my pizza with the wait time of 45 minutes. I know that this Papa Murphy’s is always running very very late so I gave them an hour. I was extremely disappointed when I showed up and it was not ready or even started! Then, when they got started it seemed like they rushed and threw stuff on the pizza in the quickest fashion possible. It looked terrible and tasted terrible because it had WAY too many veggies in comparison to the meat and cheese. My pizza was practically all onion. It felt like the staff was very careless about making the pizza and clearly not caring about the time they had to make it. It was an extremely frustrating experience and at the end of it I felt like I deserved a full refund for our food but I chose not to call and speak to anyone since the staff was already so disrespectful to me earlier, I did not feel...
