Probably the best breakfast available in Humboldt! Passing through town and this was the tentative pic for this morning's breakfast. So glad we did. The coffee was fresh and hot and not watery. The parking lot had lots of parking. We were seated immediately. The booths are a little bit tiny so hopefully you like the people you came with because you'll be close to them. Right off the bat. The whipped cream is fresh and made in-house. It goes in the hot chocolate and the stuffed French toast. It was a big favorite at the table. Unfortunately, I'm not good with eggs so I was delighted to see the potato cakes. The cheese was good and stringy. The bacon was yummy. They had at least three options of hot sauce. I was simply delighted. Kiddo got the chicken fried steak and ate at least half of it. Husband had to help with his hot cake and it was reported to be delicious. Other kiddo got the stuffed French toast and she couldn't finish but what I helped her with towards the end was fantastic. It was fried in the style that had the corn flakes. Perfect golden color achieved, with no dark brown anywhere. The strawberries were fresh and there was a light lemon custard involved that tied the whole thing together. Realistically, if this was in some kind of upscale French cafe with a chandelier and violins, I could expect pay twice as much and no one would have batted an eye in some City. The bathroom is gender neutral and there's some graffiti's and carvings but they can't do everything. There was also some homeless people out and about but that's pretty par for the course for the city and I certainly don't hold it against them chilling outside. The bathroom also had a changing table which is deeply appreciated. I can't wait to go again tomorrow and eat my body weight in delicious potatoes and hot coffee. Five stars would go again, and again.

Absolutely delicious mimosas! They had four mimosa flavors: apple, passion fruit, lemonade, and the classic orange of course. I got the mimosa flight which came with 4 small glasses of all the flavors for $14, but they were perfect for trying all the flavors. I got the chicken fried steak which went well with the seasoned potatoes, which were my favorite thing they served. I might go back just for those seasoned potatoes! My bestie was pregnant so she couldn’t try the mimosas but she said the syrup is real maple, and the pancakes were fluffy and perfect, which made me wish I ordered them instead of the hash browns as my side (pro tip, skip the hash browns, nothing to write home about). This place has plenty of parking and wasn’t too busy for Saturday brunch. The chicken fried steak was $20 but it came with 2 large sides so I left with more than I ate! Definitely the type of place you could split a plate if you’re not too hungry. I wished I didn’t get coffee before coming because they had some interesting lattes as well.

I have tried the majority of the menu and the food is fair-good quality but the pricing is too high for breakfast. The price you pay also does not match the menu, so buyers beware (see receipt and menu item price difference) You will likely not spend less than $22 for a single meal after tax as a single person given that the majority of the menu items are >$14 dollars. They do provide a large canter of coffee which is nice (see photo) and their breaded chicken and eggs Beni is nice. They use Portland brand ketchup, which is a positive also. The booths need to be re-filled with cushion, so get ready to flex your glutes. Parking can be fun when the place is packed and large groups (e.g., >6 people) will not work out easily unless you want to sit outside. Overall, I recommend looking around if you interested in eating with your family and if you want to spend this same amount of money on higher quality food, then I suggest driving an extra 10-15 min to Arcata to eat at one of the many breakfast locations.

The Best Local Restaurant In my opinion! Best food majority of staff is professional and helpful the cook is a MONSTER Compliments to this fast and phenomenol cook I love ANY of the Benedicts they have as well as the mimosas!! I would have given a 5 star although I seem to have the best results with all of the girls that work here they help so much and are so in tune with the job, but unfortunately I have been going here for years and during the pandemic I am unable to come in and enjoy as much as I would like to so I usually use doordash but my personal in store experience are sadly the same with my doordash drivers I have been considering canceling some of my orders lately considering how rude one of the male employee's the younger Latin server, I had even after my experience with him had asked my doordash driver to leave the phone call on when asking talking with the server only to hear how unconcerned and rude he was and does not seem to have a concept of being helpful just more focused on him and not the customers, with ANY of the girl servers even when I experienced over the years as I have witnessed 8 out of 10 of my orders are always at least 3 times faster because they actually help as well as care about the customers time its not the cook he is known in the city for one of the fastest and on top cooks in eureka I have waited and held my tounge for a few months until this last time, but after hearing on the phone and witnessing first hand these constant situations I will probably be eating here less please understand we need to be supportive of eachother and not rude please do not bring your personal issues to work it is a domino effect and effects...

Me and my wife have lived here most our life and love to try some of the most delicious local restaurants, as we do and have for so many years, and this place has always been a regular footprint for us, thank you for being here for everyone and making some of the best food. Out of the millions of times we go here we have only had one bad situation and yesterday was another that put the total to 2 situations the food was out of this world but the service was terrible I could not get help from anyone that often and saw the main waiter at the podium berrade 3 different delivery drivers while we were here at one point yelled and told one to leave and nothing he said was his problem..just unprofessional and rude the driver guy was waiting for a pickup for 20 minutes; the same waiter had also ignored us for a few minutes after getting his attention and he has always been a very nice guy. This is unfortunate enough for me to allow you guys to fix whatever issues is going on before we return again. Wishing you the best.you have great food and most great service but please don't bring any hate or rudeness to...
