Easy returns, inexpensive items, next time i'll shop online though due to the people that go there. Normally i notice they are either people with addiction issues, kids from the mall or a mixture of both. I see why there's pictures on google images under "walmart people" and why it feels so cringey. The workers have a cheery attitude but people who normally go in look to be under high levels of stress, just high or overloaded with children i'm noticing..i would suggest maybe our local walmart training their staff to not only have a friendly and professional attitude but maybe an event to be more involved in the community. i have observed poor attitude or inability to show empathy from both worker and customer alike but i think having the employees make a public event for families would be not only an excellent business opportunity but a great way to get happy customers and have happy workers. Just an idea from a local customer here who has both worked and been a customer. And, just one more thought, being that its summer and weather is changing around the world, keeping everyone cool, i think, should be a priority and a solution could be more air conditioning for workers and in the store, cooler filtered water at store drinking fountains for worker and customers. Maybe an hourly walk around the building with security guards (i would say 2 at a time due to the amount of people that are just hanging outside doing illegal activities and can be bothersome or rude to customers) offer a drink (of water) and ask them to go??? I only write a long review because these are the constant issues that make me not want to come back in my own community and these, to me, would make me want to come back. Honestly, our community also has a great college, both at CR and HSU that teach excellent skills to students who could certify as child care specialists and i think it would depreciate stress and increase shopping if walmart offered or funded proper child care for customers?? Just something that i believe many people would desire while getting household...

Read morePersonally I try to NOT shop at our Walmart but every now and then its a necessary evil. The last experience was unfortunate. They overcharged us for a video game when the price was clearly displayed. I didnt catch it at the time as i was a bit overwhelmed with my kids but once I got home (I live an hour away mind you and this is our closest walmart) I looked at the receipt realized what had happened. I called in to discuss it & the guy tried to make it seem like if I didn't go in right away it would be "harder" for them to refund me what they owed which is just ludicrous. If you over charge and the customer has the receipt showing that (which I did) it is your responsibility to ensure you right your wrong when they are able to make it back in. Even if I lived closer there's no guarantee i could immediately go back so i felt like the guy just didnt want to have to deal with it, but like, I dont want to have to deal with being overcharged when i shouldn't have and yet here we are. Lol I feel they definitely need better training for employees to be more courteous in these situations when they were the ones at fault. I recommend checking your receipts everytime as well as making sure you know the exact prices displayed on the items you're purchasing to make sure they don't overcharge you. Which we shouldn't have to do, but it's better to be vigilant. I've heard of this happening many times to other friends and acquaintances who have gone to this same location so it's definitely something people need to be aware of. The location itself is pretty sketchy too as it's where most of the homeless with addictions and violent behaviors live and hang out. I would recommend to just not shop here, but if you do, be aware at all times both outside the store as well as inside due to their tendency to...
