First Adventures Academy — Local services in Eureka

My three month old has been going here for only three weeks. Of course, her first day, I was a crying mess dropping her off, the staff was very comforting, and sent me pictures throughout the day of my little one, and they still send me pictures during the day, even now. Their app tells me any time she's changed, fed, napping, needs more formula, diapers, etc.... which I LOVE! This helps a lot with my First time mom worries. I have never felt uncomfortable dropping her off thus far. Every time I pick her up and drop her off, she's always smiling. Even at three months old, she seems happy and comfortable. The staff are all very sweet and they all greet me and her every morning like we're family. I was terrified sending my baby to daycare with all the horror stories you hear on the news, but this place really keeps me comfortable. I brought in extra outfits for her on her first day, she soiled an outfit and had to be changed into a new one, I asked them if they needed me to take it home and wash it and they said they could wash it for me which is great because I am a busy working mom and already have LOADS of laundry weekly. I can't say enough great things about this place.

As a grandmother who works full-time while raising my 2-year-old granddaughter, I was very apprehensive about putting her in daycare. I had been a stay-at-home mom with my own three children. Beth and Kim at First Adventures answered all of my questions and helped calm my fears, and continue to do so without ever making me feel like a bother. My granddaughter has been attending three days a week for almost 8 months now and LOVES it. Her teachers are loving and truly care for her. She’s also learning a TON, both academically and socially. It’s fun to watch how they’ve helped her grow! They’re great about communicating and keeping us informed about what she’s doing throughout the day (I love the photos they post on their app), and they are constantly adding to and improving their facility. Our two year old granddaughter attends First Adventures Academy and is very happy there. Every time we pick her up she is immersed in an activity or happily playing outside. We have noticed she has learned songs and games and even surprised us by counting to ten in Spanish. The staff and directors know her little personality really well and are always helpful, friendly and professional. The facility is clean and organized and set up well for learning through play. We love that this is independently owned as the care towards the children and families and pride in ownership shines through.
