Growing up in PA a real cheese steak is comfort food for me. Had a really hard time finding one since I had moved down here to Florida almost 4 years ago. Not that there wasn't some ok cheesesteaks around but none that would make me take a bite and feel like I was back home. Then Blue Sky subs opened and 🤤. I was next door at the pack and ship getting a package mailed out and the smell just drew me in. So I ordered it just like I would when I was in Pennsylvania cheesesteak with sauteed onions and a little marinara sauce on top with American cheese. When I took that first bite I literally close my eyes and felt like I was back home at Palumbos Pizzeria on Lehigh St in Allentown Pa. I had seen this place driving by a couple of times and was feeling hungry for a good cold sub and stopped in. I wasn't sure what I wanted but after some help from one of the guys behind the counter, I decided to go with a Classic Club and it was the Daily Special! I was not disappointed. This sub was as good as any other that I've had.It was put together quickly. The ingredients were fresh and crispy and the bread was perfect. If you are in the neighborhood and want to help a small business, definitely make this a go-to spot! They have a sign offering 20% for veterans in uniform or with id. OMG This Philly girl was taken back home with the first bite of the Busters Cheese steak with Wiz. I was so excited when I saw Wiz cheese on the menu board! 😁 The excitement didn't stop there they slice all the lunch meat and cheese on site YAY The owner was so nice and pleasant but my PROPS go to the man on the grill who cooked, and delivered my cheese steak, JOSE he was AWESOME! He knew right away when I asked for ketchup and mayo what needed to be done I didn't have to explain. Oh the small things.
