New China Buffet — Restaurant in Eustis

The service at this place is terrible. This establishment contacted the police on me just because I wasnt trying to spend 23.96 on a take out plate when their buffet is 11.50. I asked Could the plate i was Taking out be put on a dish, and eaten their. The lady at the front sarcastically said I was stealing if I did that. I asked Her what’s the difference between taking my plate out of the box and eating the buffet if it’s all you could eat? She told me in a disgusting manner that i still would have to pay 23.96 if i ate In the establishment and that if i didnt Finish the plate I’d pay the difference per pound. My response was does everyone who does not finish a plate for a buffet be charged for a pound? And her response was black people do not like to pay, and love to eat for free... when i clearly was planning to pay and was not trying to pay an 11 dollar difference for absolutely nothing. Avoid these swindlers or pay the price. When people do not care to do right by you they do not care about customers. And if my skin color determines the quality of customer that I am, then you’ve already shown your true colors. I’ve never been so disgusted by an establishment in my life. At the end of the day they made absolutely nothing, wasted food, and showed their customers in the restaurant there unwillingness to be cordial. Even the officer agreed that it makes no sense for me not to be able to sit in this establishment and partake in the buffet if I felt the take out price was too high. 23 dollars for not even 2 pounds of food is excessive. I’ll never return to this restaurant, and I’ll always speak Ill of it. If you a love place with terrible service, prejudice, hatred, and malice then this place is the place for you. But if you love being treated right, cared for, and reasoned with.. DINE ELSEWHERE!! I repeat DINE ELSEWHERE!

I always leave as a very happy, satisfied diner and never disappointed with our meal or service here. Michele is always there to greet and seat you with a friendly, warm smile. When she's not hosting or taking care of patrons in the front, one can often see her circulating the dining room, assuring diners satisfaction or kitchen operations. The wait staff are seasoned professionals who are also friendly, efficient and work well together. The buffet offers a wide variety from Sushi to prepared entrees, vegetables and desserts. Among the vegs: Buttered cabbage is my fav followed by Green Beans and Spinach Soulffle. My husband loves the Corn/corn on the cob and French fries. Pork fried rice is also offered - a rare addition on many Asian buffets, based on my experience. For entrees, my favs are The Chinese ribs of which are very meaty as is the Chicken-Stick. Broccoli and Chicken and/or Beef are avail. and very fresh. The buffet offers seafood dishes as well for non-meat eaters. Dumplings, Krab Rangoon and traditional Asian dishes are all available and always freshly prepared. Desserts offered range from a variety of Ice Creams to Jello, Fruits and Cakes/Pastries. IN THE FIRST PLACE, THIS PLACE IS TOO EXPENSIVE. IT IS VERY EXPENSIVE FOR THE LITTLE AND SMALL PLACE . THERE IS NOT MUCH TO CHOOSE FROM IT, IS TOO SMALL, AND THEY CHARGE TOO MUCH .
