Can’t Top This — Restaurant in Eustis

Usually this place is amazing. They usually have a whole bunch of flavors (for boba). I visited July 22 2021. I was not good at all. They had a limited selection. It was very disappointing. They apparently they close at 7 now. On their website it says till 9. We walked in when there was 15 minutes before they closed. We went in keep in mind that their is 5 of us. 2 adults and 3 kids. When we were almost finished ordering a woman and her son walked in. One of the 2 workers said that we were the last family they were going to serve. The lady got mad and said that there was still 8 minutes till they close. The employee got mad and said that they need time to get ready to close. I understand that you want to just want to be done and close but still you serve till it is time to close. When we finshed the total was almost 30 dollars. Usually it would not be a big deal, but there was nothing good. They had 5 flavors of boba. That was really disappointing. 2 people ordered lemonade with strawberry bobba. The lemonade was lemonade you can get from a foutain at McDonald's. Very disappointed. Also usually when we get shakes they are huge with whip cream on top. Today the shakes were very small and nothing on top. I used to love this place because we are a family of 9 and we all like this place but I think this experience ruined it for us. Well- My wife and I are semi-regular customers here. When it opened they didn't have the full menu available but what they had was delicious. Over the last few weeks the quality has gone way down. We got weird soft serve in out gelati last week. It had odd chunks of milkfat that weren't mixed into the soft serve all the way. Tasted gross and had a really odd grainy texture. Revolting, if I'm being honest. Today we got soured, gross vanilla yogurt. Its normally delicious but today it was way off. Bordering on rancid tasting. We got the yogurt to avoid the normal soft serve that comes with the gelati. This place has a lot of potential. I love the dole whip but they were out of it today. They were about 4 flavors down on the normal variety. Will try again but really hope to see some improvement. There's not a lot of selection when it comes to places to go for this kind of frozen stuff in the area. My biggest suggestion would be to make a rule for the employees to actually sample and verify that what they're selling is set up right and is palatable. Would be nice to see a manager occasionally. Or are the kids there the management? The couple times we sheepishly complained we weren't offered a refund or anything. I know this sounds scathing... But I really hope this place can improve and stay in business. I hate having to leave town for a dole whip or...

I was visiting a friend when we decided to try this great little shop! Upon arrival we noticed that the place was cheerful, clean and tidy. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming! The manager went above and beyond explaining everything to us since we had never been there before. I tried the strawberry boba tea which was absolutely refreshing and delish. My friend got a peach smoothie made with coconut milk and thoroughly enjoyed it! We were thrilled with our experience and will be returning soon. A must try if you are...
