China King — Restaurant in Eustis

Terrible! Ordered 2 Egg Rolls and a Quart of Shrimp Fried Rice. Fried Rice had 3 Shrimp on top, we searched endlessly and could not find any more. Besides only 3 Shrimp, the Fried Rice had nothing in it but Rice. No favor at all. All you get is Rice for $11. Nothing else but favor less Rice. Additionally, they don’t mind making customers who are picking up food waste while 4 employees discuss another some other order. They put items into bag and another employee takes it out. Complete confusion and wasting customers time that are there to pick up orders. Save yourself much aggravation from these restaurant employees, because they are delusional, and fabricate mythical events that never occurred. If they will cheat me, there’s no reason why they won’t cheat you. $11 for a box of rice is thievery and I’m only considering filing a Better Business Bureau complaint against these thieves, As filthy as this place was, I’m also considering filing a health department complaint against them. They could’ve easily tried to resolve this complaint, but they decided that they would put out incomplete wrong information and try to act like I jumped in line. In fact there wasn’t anyone in the restaurant when I first walked in. I held the door for a lady that left, I walked up to the counter and these characters Went back and was working in a bag four of them like a find a Chinese fire drill was going on one was putting it in was taking it out. It was maddening. I tried to get their attention. It was one minute, please and they worked and worked and work for five or so minutes back there when I finally got my stuff I was leaving and a woman walked in. That’s exactly what happened Mr. And guess what you’re wrong about it all. You would know what went on in your restaurant because you had your head in the bag with your other three employees and one about your trying to cook so there was five of you Chinese fire drill and none of y’all knowing anything about...

Unfortunately, I can only rate China King in Eustis, Fl with a ONE star rating! I can't rate a ZERO star rating! The reason I have rated them so low is that they have decided that their versions of classic Chinese dishes is better than the classic version. The Mongolian beef dinner that I ordered normally has beef, sauce, spices, onions, and scallions. Three weeks ago I ordered my weekly Mongolian beef, but was surprised to find that they added bell pepper to the dish! I called to find out why they added this in and this is what the person told me in broken English, We have always cooked it that way, and when I told them that I've gotten this from them for several months and it never had bell peppers in it before! Also, I mentioned that Classic Mongolian beef, does not have bell peppers in it at all! I think, if it were just a couple, it wouldn't be a big deal to just remove them and enjoy my meal. But when there are as many bell peppers as onions, it just becomes a cheap filler and doesn't taste very good! Even when I specifically asked for no bell peppers, I've gotten them. I don't dislike them, but I don't want CHEAP FILLERS in my food! I've ordered this dish at almost every Chinese restaurant in the area and except for a couple of cheapo Chinese take-out joints, I get real Mongolian Beef!...

I ordered two steamed veggies, one boneless spare ribs, two veggie spring rolls and they give you a free quart of either won-ton or egg-drop soup. It came to 31 and change. I thought that was steep but I paid and ate. The spring rolls were fine, the brown rice that came with it was ok. The veggies were lacking and consisted of mostly broccoli flourets, did i mention mostly broccoli flourets? (Too many for a mix imho). It had just a few snow peas, too many green pepper squares, just a little bok choi, just a few slices of carrots, no onions, no bamboo shoots, no spinach, no taste because they were steamed. No taste...no spices. The boneless spare ribs were in a delicious sauce but too much hard fat and overcooked to almost hard. Overall I give it 3 stars which would have been mostly unaffected by the price if it were lower. The people seem nice. This was my first visit since I just moved here. I think there is room for competition off David Walker Drive in the Eustis shopping center or nearby. This establishment isn't all that the 19...
