I didn't ask the person at the window today if the management has changed bevause I can clearly see from my last 2 interactions with the window staff that they have very poor customer service now. The MtDora and Leesburg locations always seem very happy to serve the public.
Last time I was here the girl at the drive through told me that I showed up too early after placing my order on the app. NEVER have I been told at any starbucks that my request for their business was made too early... I also don't understand why that's such a big deal. Because the volume seems to have increased or their competence has decreased because the wait times have definitely been longer...
I just put an order on the app and this time I didn't put it in too early but I actually didn't change it from in store to drive through and even though I gave a $1 tip. I was told that next time I will have to get out of my car and get the drink myself instead of them just reaching across and grabbing it like they always have if I make that mistake: the app is set to always do in store..
I definitely enjoy the convenience but I will not be back to this particular location.
I can see there are other reviews in the same span of time have noticed the quality decrease at this location.
I hope the employees are being treated fairly 🤷♀️
Typically management is responsible for these issues as they seem to be systemic and not just...
Read moreMy sister in Florida insisted on driving to check out this new Starbucks that is only three weeks old. It is in the Mount Dora-Eustis area, in a shopping mall called The Shoppes at Eustis Village, which is on US Highway 441 North.
The Starbucks is easily recognizable and located on the corner so there is also a drive-in window for people who wish to take out. There is also ample parking in front of the entrance, and once inside there was an absolutely beautiful and very spacious Starbucks. There are many tables and a large table opposite the order counter, and there are four comfortable immitation leather chairs to the right of the front door.
Since the place was almost empty at 7PM, we took the comfortable chairs up front and enjoyed our drinks. My mother had an iced drink and I had a regular coffee.
The thumping "music" from the overhead loudspeakers was not to my taste, but it was not the worst. I imagine that the employees liked this to while away the hours. Nevertheless, I fully expect that when this Starbucks is discovered by the people in the area, it will become a very popular place and one of the best in the greater Orlando area.
There are three other Starbucks within four miles, but this one is definitely the most spacious...
Read moreWhat a horrible experience. The short girl at the intercom was incredibly rude very different then my normal Starbucks experience. She was in such a rush she didn’t get my order right I asked for soy milk. When I got to the window and he told me the total I knew it wasn’t marked for soy. So I tell him and he tells the girl who took my order and she says “well she needs to pay for soy”. Duh! I’m the one that noticed the price was too cheap. Then she says “tell her to pull forward and we will bring it out” (I have NEVER been pulled forward at Starbucks) then I sat for another 3-4 mi it’s while 5 other cars pull out of the driver thru with their orders. The girl that brought the drink out to me wasn’t very friendly either like it was my fault. Brings me no straw so I have to get out anyways to get a straw completely defeating the whole purpose of a drive thru which I use because I have a sleeping 1 year old in my back seat. So basically I will not be back to this location the staff needs some MAJOR training in how a normal Starbucks employee acts and...
