05/28/2025 - Review updated from 3 years ago. The former owner (Jennifer) left this store about 2.5 years ago. The new owner has this store, Haines City location and since then has added 2 more locations. We have been a half dozen times over since he had taken over this location. We have seen a significant decrease in the food, service and atmosphere. My teenage son visited on May 22nd and purchased only 2 grilled cheeses for $10.68. My son sent me a photo and said this is what their grilled cheese looks like. It was on a sub roll and burnt. He said he waited 30 minutes for it and the staff was not kind. I visited the store on May 28th to speak to a manger/store owner and show him the photo of the burnt grilled cheese. He was not available, but Gabriella was very helpful and apologized for the experience. She did confirm that this location does not use the regular toast to make the kids grilled cheese. The owner will only use a sub roll. I air dropped the photo to her as she wanted it to be able to show the owner. I had my receipt and she offered to refund the full amount. I appreciate Gabriella and that she agreed the photo of the grilled cheese is not acceptable at all. Our previous visit in January 2025 was not great. Hence the reason we had not returned. Someone please help this new owner of 2.5 years to understand the food and cleanliness of this location is not what it use to be. Changed to a 1 star review. - end of updated review.
This is by far our most favorite Firehouse Subs! We will drive pass others to just come to this location. The service is GREAT and Ms. Donna rarely forgets a face or name. The food is always fresh, hot and on point. I appreciate our Firehouse team for being there for us and making our week day lunch dates the BEST! By the way, y'all rock the bread free meatball sub. My son says he wishes your grilled cheese sandwiches were bigger.

Read moreI love Firehouse Subs and the staff at this location have always been nice and helpful. Food comes out relatively quickly and has always been done to order. I like that they have the coke freestyle machine so that I can choose what I would like. I like that they have many sizes of sandwiches along with a variety of types of sandwiches. I do however wish that they had more of a fresh dill pickle then the little cooked pickle spear that they include with your sandwich. That is the only negative that I would state with all the Firehouse Subs.
UPDATE 2022: Glad they are back open for in-store dining. Didn't know that as they were closed a few weeks ago and we had to go to the car to order through the app to pick up inside. However I have to knock one star off from the 5 that I originally gave. The sandwiches were awesome and made correctly, but all other items were missing in my pick up bag. Good thing I looked before I left the store. The brownie wasn't in there and there were no chis (ordered 2). I was told when I inquired about it that they were out of the chips I ordered. I get that. The stock was very depleted. BUT PLEASE PUT A NOTE ON THE BAG, OR HOLD IT AT THE COUNTER SO I KNOW TO PICK OTHERS. If I had sent my husband in, we would have gotten home before we knew all the stuff was missing and we live 15 minutes away. Hope to be able to give a 5 star review next time.
Also, this isn't the store's fault, but I had a gift card I wanted to use. You can't use gift cards on the online or app ordering. Only in store in person. If I knew they opened back up again, I would have done that. Something to remember for next...
Read moreI order from here every once in a while. My last 2 visits have been bad. I always make my order online and the issues seem to get worst. I order two large sandwiches and medium combos today. I gave a 5 minute grace time before going to get my food. I came in, went to the order rack location to see nothing there. Both people behind the counter saw me and didn’t say a thing. I waited there for a couple of minutes thinking they might still be working on it. Nothing happens and two other people came behind me. I walk over to the hot sauce sections and still am not greeted or anything. A third customer makes an order, so I advise the male behind the counter that I’m picking up an online order. He gives me my sandwiches. I advised him that I only have two sandwiches, he advises that they don’t have large boxes. Two large sandwiches placed in four boxes. If they have a pickup rack, why are orders not on the rack? I ask for two medium cups(I have to ask for my cups every time I go here). He gives me two small cups(I paid for a medium). I asked if the brownies are in the bag(They have gotten this right once before, and three visits prior I had to come back to get brownies). They were not in the bag. 1 brownie was old. Had to throw it away. I go to the tea counter and they were both empty with no tops. I go to 100 drink machine for most of the options were not available. No containers, no service, and no drinks available. $41.25 for a terrible experience. I will not be back to this location ever again. It’s a...
