Flame Pasta & Mediterranean — Restaurant in Evans

Ordered 3 gyros and hummus for take-out on a Monday night. The first hint that this was going to be a bad experience was when my wife asked to have my 4 year old sons gyro made with the vegetables on the side. She was told that they couldnt because it was pre-made. The thought of pre-made gyros was disappointing, but she was simultaneously relieved and frustrated when she watched them make the gyros in front of her. Why couldnt they put the vegetables on the side again?!?! My wife paid and drove the 10 minutes to our house. When she got home, she realized there was no pita to go with the hummus. I called the restaurant and was told they only provide pita for hummus if you are dinning in. I guess they expect you to eat the hummus with a spoon. And speaking of hummus, their's has an incredible amount of unblended chick peas. Probably the worst restaurant hummus I have ever had. As for the gyros... they were cold. Cold like the meat had been sitting out for an hour cold. Two had almost no tzatziki sauce. While the third was drowning in tzatziki. It was as if they dumped all three portions of tzatziki on one gyro. Bottom line... dont waste your money. There are several other Mediterranean restaurants in the local area that take more pride in their offerings and have much better...

This place is amazing. A pretty large selection of menu items, and the quality of food is fantastic. Was very pleasantly surprised with how everything turned out and will definitely be coming again. With the whole place being run by what seems like only two people, there is excellent quality and time put into their dishes and not a single thing was off. Would 100% recommend to anyone looking for the kinds of food they offer. They're also available on nearly every single "to-go" app which makes it even easier. From inside it may not look like much at the moment, but don't let looks deceive you for...

This could be more. We had spaghetti and meat sauce. The food was quite good with sauce that was well make an clearly not from a can. It was flavorful and seemed of good quality. Despite clearly coming out of the microwave on the counter.

The staff was friendly and tried hard, if a bit under trained. Visible food prep area seemed clean but disorganized. The table we sat at was sticking. It had been wiped down but not well.

So the total for an acceptable to generous take out box of spaghetti (medium size) and a water was $11.36. Maybe a touch strap all...
