Well I am from Grand Island, NY and was visiting my mother in Augusta GA and we visited the store 2 times and were treated very rudely by the same woman who was there both times. Our first visit was on Saturday September 26th, whereas my mother had a cupcake card and after buying two more cupcakes she was supposed to get the 3rd one free, but they refused to give us one at that time. They said we had to pay for the 3rd cupcake and come back another time. Some other people came into the store, so instead of causing a big scene, we just walked out. My husband and I returned on Monday September 28th at 3:45 pm and we were looking for the cupcake of the day in which we were told by a rude woman working at the back counter (same woman as on Sat 9/26/15) that Pecan Pie was a fall flavor and fall flavors weren't out yet. I replied that I was from out of state and didn't know that and she replied back, "well we have a website, just go look it up on there!" I was very upset inside, just cashed out with the cashier and left. My husband and I got to the car and he said, "well that was pretty rude, why couldn't they just tell us what the current flavor of the day was?" I don't even think their cupcakes are that great or how they could have been voted #1 for cupcakes, I've certainly had better. I'll tell you that rude lady that works there needs to go before she hurts the business more than it seems she already does. Whenever I go back to visit I will never go back...
Read moreExceptional customer service is the face of the business. This morning the service I received at this location was shocking. It made me wonder if this location was under new management. The associate were not very welcoming or friendly. No smiles or friendly tone. They were not knowledgeable about the online advertisement on their location site nor did they go out their way to access the site to find out the answer to the question I had. Once I asked the associate if she could pull up the site, she did. After pulling up the site, what I was being told made no sense, so I ask for the manager. She came upfront and stated the same information as the cashier. I then as for them to call the owner for clarification. I had to ask them to place the order online so that they could see what I was saying. The shift supervisor walked away after having the cashier call the owner and not getting an answer. Her attitude indicated, she clearly wasn’t trying to deal with me. This was disappointing especially since the location is not convenient for me. Even though the service was different from any I ever received, I did make a $69 purchase for my son’s birthday since I was there and didn’t have time to go to the other location in our area. I hope this review help them be more aware of their customer service...
Read moreBe careful if you order cupcakes from here. My wife ordered cupcakes for her reenlistment and the ones we got looked nice enough, but they were loaded with dye. We ordered 48, which were very very expensive, and less than ten were eaten. The first few people who ate the cupcakes had their teeth silver, their tongues black, and their fingers and lips all gray. It was so bad that a couple asked us if this was supposed to be a practical joke. We were so embarrassed and also had lots of costly cupcakes that we ended up throwing away. When we spoke to the shop the next day, they said that people complain about that all the time and they offered us four free cupcakes with out next order. We will not be returning for those cupcakes. Just be sure to ask about this when you order from here, but if this is for a professional event, don't risk it. I'm sure children would be amused by it, but adults who have to return to their office after eating them will be far less...
