We watched 4 servers stare at our table once we were sat including our waitress for almost 10 minutes without coming to our table. Two tables were sat after us in the same area and both had drinks to their table one of which was 2 jumbo margaritas from the bar before our server quit leaning on the wall and took our orders. I had to get the hostess to get me a server. The server was the absolute rudest and mouthy server I’ve ever had. We already knew our dinner order by the time she arrived. I started giving our order and the waitress started scowling at me for giving her my entire order. She snipped “Uhhh hold on” very rudely and I slowly repeated our order. Our food reasonably quick, but still no drinks from the bar. Once again our server was leaning against the wall and having another waiter bring our 2 plates out. After a few bites she came over asking if everything was ok. I told her no we still don’t have our drinks and I’m missing my rice and beans for my order. The server used the excuse that there’s only one bartender and got extremely argumentative with me. Not once did she say I’m sorry about that, or let me go check in those for you etc. Mind you I’m watching a table across from me guzzle 2 jumbo margaritas that they got before our server drug herself to our table. I was pissed and pulled a Karen and asked her to get the manger and cut the attitude.

The manger got our drinks in about 60 seconds then got the rest of my food which is the only thing the 2nd star is for. When walking out, I looked at the bar and saw 2 bartenders making drinks an another server filling drinks for people sitting at the bar.

The food was tasty, drinks were really good but watching all of the staff minus the manager and chips/salsa lady shuffle around like it was a retirement community on Saturday night and treat us like trash pretty much ruined the...

Family visited this restaurant for the 2nd time on September 11, 2022!

Great atmosphere, neat decorations, and very friendly service! This is a Mexican restaurant that does not disappoint.

Let’s talk about our dining experience! The wait to be seated was less than a minute and very prompt. Once seated, fresh warm multi-color tortilla chips and salsa are provided. The drinks for a family of 4 took only a couple of minutes to be served! The food order took about 10–15 minutes and it didn’t really seem like that long as our chips were replenished and staff stayed engaged with us during the wait.

Now the food! My wife ordered the Chiliquiles, which is pictured in this post with the guacamole on the plate. This tasted very fresh, the veggies were crisp, it was well seasoned and the chicken was moist. The grilled onion set this meal apart and was fantastic.

My meal was the other picture with the red sauce. This was the Carnitas Adobo (Red Sauce). Let me start off by saying, this restaurant out performs other Mexican restaurants in the area with their pork meals. Most other restaurants pork is way too dry. This Senor Mezcal gets it done right. Also, the pork has a slight bit of some flavorful pork fat on some of the pieces that take the meal over the top. The red sauce has a mild to medium heat to it. It was slightly a little too spicy for me, but it still maintained its full flavor and I still deeply enjoyed the meal. Paired with warm corn tortillas, rice and refried beans; this was a awesome meal and I would recommend readers to give it a try. Next time I will get the green sauce and ask for a little less heat.

Overall, this restaurant has a great vibe, very nice and prompt staff, and the food does not disappoint!

5 Stars from my family and we will definitely recommend it to anyone looking for something...

We had a group of 7 in the restaurant on Saturday, February 17, 2024. It was all of our first time there. We honestly were having a great time. We had 3 young kids who were enjoying the karaoke and overall started off great. I should say our waiter, Mario, was FANTASTIC.

We get our food and everyone’s was fine except for one plate of beef and bean nachos. The meat was ice cold and the chips were soggy. Not a bad flavor at all, just happened to be a bad plate of food. It happens, it wasn’t a big deal. I politely told Mario that and asked for it to be exchanged for 2 beef tacos. Simple. Not even 30 seconds later Abimael Lagunes, who claims he is the owner and manager, comes over and starts berating us and asking how there could be anything wrong with it and if they were so bad why I would want beef in a different kind of food. He then goes on about how we’re wasting food, he isn’t McDonald’s, and how he’s a small business and he doesn’t do that here. I was so shocked and taken back. Because I never said anything about the food having a bad flavor. Never. We then just asked for our check. He brought one check and refused to separate it and even made the comment how we would be paying for the nachos no matter what.

Fortunately, our waiter came off and separated and took off the nachos, no questions asked. He was so apologetic and sorry for the way we were just treated and spoken to because he knew we weren’t trying to be mean or rude. And I’m sorry, that’s sad when your employee has to come over and try and mend damage from the “owner”.

I seriously hope that there is another person in charge...

This place was a pleasant surprise! Best Mexican food, drinks and bar selection I've seen in this area. They have White Henny on the bar...which was a new one for me to see. The margaritas here are SO good, made with fresh juices, not syrups, and strong. They are a bit expensive compared to other local spots in the area, with the large being $22 and small half that. However, you can't beat fresh. We typically preferred Monterrey's house frozen, but the flavors offered here without syrup was a plus. We still would go back for our Monterey's house frozen margarita though because it's consistent, strong and yummy. Ok, the fresh guacamole is sublime! Chunky and delish...so good!!!! The alambre Pastor, Arroz con Pollo, shrimp quesadilla, huge Cali burritos, pastor Street tacos, tamales, and wings....YUM!! All the food was phenomenal that I've tried so far. It's good, because I obviously keep coming back. If you don't like sauce on your tamales, tell the wait staff. I think I like the tamales better at Monterey's, but it's all still very good with quality ingredients. Fresh. Service is good overall. There's two that are really good. I think this is our new favorite Mexican spot. Best food yet. Check it out! Totally worth it!!

Parking is very limited the time I went, especially after 8pm after Saturday, every other shop in the plaza seemed closed. There was very limited seating but we're able to be seated near immediately upon entering for a party of 4. Loud Karaoke, volunteers were allowed to sing too if they wanted to be brave enough and join. Very positive atmosphere. depending on where you sit, these music can be pretty loud. A lot of happy faces. The chorizo cheese dip appetizer is very good (it may contain some extra added salt as the chorizo flavor is deeply enhanced) Carnitas Adobo is what I order and it was a lot more greasy than I thought and I have a hard time finishing my plate. Food is just as heavy as every other Mexican food in the area. Not too expensive and great for a family restaurant or if you prefer sitting next to the bar - but the seats may be limited. Chairs do feel a little firm for a chair that has cushioning. I have not tried the booths but they do seem a little more comfy. Service was decent I have no complaints, it was harder to communicate as the music was pretty loud since we were two tables away from the karaoke source.
