I’m rather astonished about what the manager of Target told me the other day when I asked him if he knows that it is “against the law to park in your car in the FIRE LANE” he said he didn’t think it was ….. IM INFORMING HIM THAT IT MOST CERTAINLY IS! I along with most of the universe happen to know that a FIRE LANE is for A FIRE TRUCK not for people to park in while shopping. I SEE PEOPLE PARK IN FRONT OF WALMART ON First Ave. ever single day and are causing big problems for people trying to walk in and out of the store. As for Target someone needs to inform the “managers” what a FIRE LANE IS FOR and it is against the law to park your car in it and enter the store. There was a car parked in the Fire Lane when I walked in Target and I told them over at the customer service dest …. they just stood there staring at me ..as a girl returning things screamed at me said mind your own business…she said I’m only going to be parked there for a few minutes and I told her she was breaking the law….. she continued yelling at me. NEXT TIME I WILL SIMPLY CALL THE COPS AND LET THESE PEOPLE PAY TICKETS INSTEAD OF YELLING AT ME! ...
Read moreI came into Target to exchange a swimsuit for my daughter where me and another customer waited at the customer service desk for help because no one was at the counter. Several workers walked by and never said a word. Finally, a guy came from the back, took my swimsuit so that I could get a new one, and when I came back to the desk no one was there. We once again waited and waited, and no one came. Same as before, workers walked past us and offered no help. I actually went to find somebody to ask for help and they just said, “Oh they’re probably out for a pickup order!” She offered no further assistance. Finally, the girl overseeing the self checkout noticed that I had been waiting forever with no help and she left her post to come check us out. I was so thankful and she was so nervous that she was going to get in trouble by her boss for coming to help me! How sad is it that an employee is nervous about getting in trouble for trying to help a customer!? Be...
Read moreThe Target store on First Avenue is nice and clean. The store seems well stocked in most items. They have even added groceries in the last couple of years. I go to Target to pick up Pepsi with Real Sugar. None of my local stores carry it in anything besides the 7.5 oz miniature cans. Evansville seems to be closest place for me to get 12 packs of the regular 12 oz cans.
Anyway, I find Target on First Avenue to be a nice store with a good variety of items and good prices. The only area that they seem to lack in is the music and movies section.
The only DVD or Blu-ray discs that I saw were the most recent new releases. There were no catalog titles or bargain bins. The music selection was slightly better. The only CDs that I saw were Taylor Swift. However the vinyl selected was a little better, but not by much. They had mostly new releases with a few popular catalog albums such as: Fleetwood Mac, Queen and Journey...
