Hardee’s — Restaurant in Evansville

Update 05/31/2022: I haven't been in a while as long work hours have kept me away. I pull up to order through the drive thru and the voice of Ms. Sharon takes my order. If you have been to Hardee's on the westside you will know Ms. Sharon works in the mornings until about 11. Things have become worse since a new owner and manager has taken over and you can hear it in Ms. Sharon's voice. She tries to put a small on and sound happy but it has not been easy with worker shortage. She tells me my total and out of respect I always say yes ma'am, thank you! I pull forward. We always chat briefly asking how we both have been doing. Recently Ms. Sharon tells me she has been accused of something that I know and many others would sure know that she could never do. She was told that her register was short 50.00 dollars from the other day and this is after she had been off for a few hours. The manager said she will investigate and asked Ms. Sharon if she can pay the 50 out of her check till the investigation is done. She struggles enough without more money being taken from her and shows up for work every day for the last 11 years no matter what. If something happens to Ms. Sharon, the face of the westside Hardee's I will not return. If you go to Hardee's on the westside please show your support and talk to Ms. Sharon. She is such a sweet lady and deserves so much love, encouragement and praise.

Food is usually good. The potato rounds are not always fresh. Normally I order tea. As of late the tea doesn't always taste fresh. The wait times in line are becoming worse. Thinking the food will be correct and hot. No! Then the employees become irritated when asking for warm or correct food. Fast food use to be good. Where do they find...

Myself and 2 children arrived at least 30 mins before this store closed. We drove into the drive through to see the screen light off so we continued to drive through to leave. Once pulled around to pass the window, I noticed a woman inside giggling at another. She saw me and came to the window pretty quickly. When she opened the window it wasn’t, “Can I take your order”? She just looked at me until I spoke. I asked her, is it normal to close early at this location? She responded w, “we aren’t closed”.I said the menu lights are out so you are closed. Her response, was she forgot to turn it on and didn’t get the chance. So she then asked for my order at the window. I told her that I had no idea yet since the screens were turned off. I looked at my boys and asked if they still wanted Hardee’s? At 12 years old these boys declined due to thinking this lady would do something to their food. I told the sweet lady at the window to have a good night and I would be rating her store. Probably miss a lot of monies at this store if they do this often. 9:30 is prime time for team members that have practice or games that late. I’m sure the owner would appreciate knowing his/her store closes early. That’s all....

The service was terrible. Waited in drive thru for 7 mins whuch is typical on any day or time ..(worse at 130 am with 1 car in front of us apparently) when we got to window she never made eye contact. Only said 11.01 and shoved our drink in my bfs hand , then kept the window open while we waited for our food... another 5 mins. . She had to ask the person in grill if she had a big ham n cheese twice .. she NVR asked us anything else the entire time.. went toward the back (I assume to get the fries for our order.. then came back around into site and had a box and a bag... gave the box to my boyfriend in what can only be described as a rude way...threw 3 napkins in the bag and tucked side in.. never closing the bag and ignored us as we were asking for ketchup and bbq sauce , only slammed drive thru window shut in our still trying to talk to her... then she disappears into the back again.. we were going to wait til she came back up.. but didn't want to piss the 2(maybe more,couldn't see ) vehicles behind us waiting for us to be outta their way so they could be done too. The lady was grumpy never said thank you or even hi... won't go back again..not...
