Little Caesars Pizza — Restaurant in Evansville

Absolutely worthless management of this location, which is unfortunate as it’s the closest one to me. Put an order through for pickup on 11/21 and the app accepted my order and took the payment but when I showed up the location was closed and there were several other people trying to get their orders. Attempted to call the store 5 times in the next few days and no one answered, it rang for at least 15 minutes each time before going to an automated message saying “we’re sorry but no one picked up and there is no voicemail, goodbye”. Had to drive in to the location and wait for 15 minutes for the poor excuse for a manager to stop playing on his phone while sitting in the back visible to me. When he finally came up front his excuse for the location closing was “we were out of something” lol then why not shut your online ordering off? Never got a reason why they couldn’t answer the phone any of the handful of times they called while I could visibly see multiple employees sitting around or talking in the back. Against my better judgment I gave them another try tonight, went to order online on my way home at 8:20pm and the order wouldn’t go through, decided to stop by and see if maybe there was an issue with the system and I could place my order inside. Walked in and tried to place an order at the counter to the less than enthusiastic employee, was told immediately that the pizza I was trying to order isn’t available to order in store only online, told him the online ordering wouldn’t work and before I could even finish my sentence he says “let me get the manager” well out from his stool in the back came the same guy who I dealt with previously, told him that I couldn’t place my order online and that I was told the item I wanted was only available on the app, he says “they shut the ordering off at 8:30 online” I tried to tel him it wouldn’t go through at 8:20 and asked if they could just make the order I wanted and bill it out another way since the app wouldn’t place it. He just said “nothing I can do” and started to walk off. Never have I had as poor of an experience or dealt with a business that just didn’t want your money like I have here....

Food is okay, but whoever's in charge of staffing has made the place a revolving door and the current staff are jerks to delivery drivers, which is an immediate disqualification in my eyes.

Last time I went in there was an INCREDIBLY soft-spoken dude working the front who put the wrong order in the pizza portal and labeled it as mine for pickup. When I questioned where like 50% of my items were, it took some haggling to even get him to recognize the label was wrong on the pizza boxes I had.

But the ultimate indignation was when I first got there, as a Doordash driver who'd clearly ALSO not been given everything in the order and was waiting patiently, basically got shushed so the guy could talk to me first.

I was in there for a good five minutes dealing with the Pizza Portal mistake, including the guy going to the back to get my order (stored in the back for whatever reason?) and STILL had to correct not handing me everything in the frickin' order.

For all that time, the person who was trying to deliver food already in his hands was being made to wait. It was only after I stepped outside and saw his car marked Doordash did I realize what was happening.

I'm done with this location.

Also Brandi's review isn't an outlier: They have been consistently reducing how much cheese they put in the cheese cup you pay...

They used to be a quick easy place to order pizza and it would pretty good. Here lately we're getting about 2 to 2 1/2, 3 inches of crust and then your sauce, toppings, and cheese. Their bread sticks are still very good if you get them fresh. The cheddar cheese sauce is served cold instead of warm. If you're looking for a fast dinner and not concerned about quality, this would be a great place to go. The last time I was in there, the manager on duty expressed the fact that he was being inconvenienced with customers coming in because they were keeping him from deep cleaning the store. I feel as though if it weren't for the customers, he wouldn't have a job or a store to deep clean. Get it together!! You used to be so delicious.
