I'm a disabled 57 year old man. I walk with 2 leg braces and a cane. I have a medical implant that's in my spinal cord. I can't move without these medical devices. I came in for lunch with my wife. The order line and the pick up line were the same line.the restaurant was busy. I made two trips to the counter for my order. On the second trip I got my drink. A large mtn dew. It was crowded and I tripped and spilled my drink on the floor and other customers feet. I was completely embarrassed. I apologized as I returned to the counter and asked A older middle eastern woman who was the cashier if I could please get another cup because I accidentally tripped and spilled my drink. Her EXACT STATEMENT TO ME WAS THIS WITH AN ANGRY VOICE. " I WAS WATCHING YOU AND YOU THREW IT ON THE FLOOR !! her " ANGRY ATTITUDE DIDN'TSTOP THERE ". She came out into the dining area with the mop bucket and kept Staring at me shaking her head and kept saying " I WATCHED YOU THROW IT ON THE FLOOR !! It was hard to finish our meals with this woman acting like she was BECAUSE I TRIPPED AND ACCIDENTALLY SPILLED MY DRINK. I've been dining at this particular restaurant for over twenty plus years and I have NEVER BEEN TREATED with this much DISRESPECT THERE BEFORE ! A DISABLED PERSON SHOULD NEVER HAVE TO GO THROUGH THIS KIND OF BEHAVIOR FROM AN EMPLOYEE OF ANY...
Read moreLooking at other reviews it sounds like this Dairy Queen has been having issues for years. I see DQ responding to year old comments about issues that are still issues.
Our experience:
Go in, see lots of temporary signs everywhere that gives an unprofessional and cluttered feel.
My husband waited a long time for the bathroom. It turned out you need a key but there is nothing on the bathroom door to indicate that. There was a little girl waiting earlier for the bathroom and her mom had to take her elsewhere because they thought someone was taking a long time.
My recept said I ordered a chocolate covered vanilla ice cream cone and strawberry sundae which was correct. Except they tried to give me a regular cone without chocolate. They also didn't give me a spoon with my sundae so I had to ask.
The amount of ice cream was much less than normal.
The cone was stale.
People go to restaurant chains because they know what to expect. No surprises. It's familiar. That was my experience with DQ until I went here. It definitely turns me off.
Go to a different place for ice cream/food if you are...

Just drank some tea and coffee all day. Ordered us 2, 6pc chicken tender baskets. Now I have over 10 years in the culinary industry. I know my food and the system. I've cooked in 3 different states. Got our food. It looked ok it was just chicken tenders and fries. The gravy however was boiling hot. Like out of a microwave. My wife and I both got sick. I missed a day of work. My wife is disabled and had food poisoning on top to deal with. Called the store today (1-31-18'). Talked to a manager named Chomba. I called because he hung up on my wife when she called. He told her they don't have poison there and it's not his problem. I called and he more or less told me the same thing and hung up on me. He also refused to tell me a corporate number or his store number when I asked. So now I'm waiting until the next manager...
