DiBlasis Subs — Restaurant in Everett

30 plus years I've been going to this place. I remember at 12 mom dragging me to DiBlasis to get her favorite. Steak and cheese sub with extra American cheese and tomato. I would get something different everytime and everything was good. The pizza was always my favorite. I haven't been there in awhile cz I moved but my buddy called me and while we were talking he was smacking away. I asked him what he was eating he said a steak and cheese from DiBlasis and it brought me back to the memories of going there with my mom and that was great cz she isn't here with us anymore she passed away. I dont know if they changed hands but the owner and my mom got really cool with each other and sometimes would get me mad cz I wanted to go and they would just talk away lol. I imagine maybe a son or daughter took over cz where talking 30 years ago. Thanks for all the great memories and good food! Its gonna be hard to go im there but I think I will stop in and get my moms favorite sub of all time. I dont know if its the same owner but if it is. My mom was Kristine, tall blonde hair with a tattoo of a cross on her cheek. She is very hard to forget in case you're reading this and wondering who she is lol. Keep pumping...

My husband and I decided to try this place, no one was there, but the guy working was busy making orders. No big deal, we will just wait...and wait...and wait. A man from a business next door walked in and waited maybe a few moments before the owner looked at him and addressed him by the name and took his order. The owner continued doing what he was doing and never came back to address us, so we walked out. I will NEVER go back, and nor will I recommend a place that doesn't even acknowledge customers that are not the "regulars." All you have to do is acknowledge customers, let them know you're in the middle of something, and be respectful of their time. I hate to bring race into this, but it is Everett. I used to go to diblasis as a kid and used to love every trip but now I’m not sure what happened but they are very nasty, non professional, and CANT COOK. I asked for my steak and cheese toasted and got it burnt to a crisp and the steak was not cooked good at all so respectfully I went back to just have them make me a new one and the owner Greg was extremely unprofessional mocked me in the store multiple times while I was sitting there waiting for them to cook me another sandwich. When I gave the sandwich to my gf the second time they completely covered it with black pepper so that it is not even edible. I am extremely disappointed and will never return. If I advise do NOT get food here...
