Henry's Donuts — Restaurant in Everett

First off the lady was trying to take my order while talking to some girl on the phone while on speaker mode. I ordered a dozen donuts even though the selection was minimal. Maybe only about 20 types of donut, although some of the 20 were variations of each other. I seen a review saying the chocolate cover on the bismarck was burnt and it does taste burnt. Maybe it burnt the donut if the chocolate (they only had dark chocolate) went on hot.

I have tried donuts in quite a few places across the US and pastries across Europe, and these donuts were not the worst but close to it. Maybe some of these reviewers need to get out a bit more.

Decent enough donuts for decent enough price. First time I went, their card reader didn't work so I didn't even get to try them but the second time I just brought cash. The woman paid more attention to her movie on her iPad than she did me but I guess that's normal? She didn't have to turn it off but maybe pause it while I held money at her for 2 minutes and while she counted my change would have been respectful. But like I said, decent enough donuts for a decent...

When I walked in the place smelled heavily of cigarette smoke. And this was through my KN95 mask. The only other person inside was an employee. It literally smelled like they had just been smoking in the back and put down a cigarette as I arrived. It was too late at that point, so I bought a Boston cream. It was only okay. I couldn't enjoy it while still thinking about the business practices of a place where smoking in the kitchen...
