Iāve really tried supporting this business but theyāve made too many unnecessary mistakes when it came to ordering food.
This is my 4th time ordering take out from this establishment and I inconveniently have to return due to the order never being correct. What is so hard about checking a pick up order prior to handing it to the customer? This is the only Haitian restaurant Iām always hesitant ordering from because 1. Their timing is always off (I was told 20mins ended up waiting an hour) 2. Inside always looks like they partied the night before and did the bare minimum on tidying up before opening⦠3. MY ORDER IS NEVER CORRECT! Gas and food are too expensive to be telling customers to come back due to your mistakes. In a case for an Uber delivery, are you telling customers to call their drivers to return the food? Please do better.
If Iām the first to speak up on this matter so be it, this place need to step up their etiquette, customer service and satisfaction.
Today I called to place a take out order.. had repeated the order twice to whomever was taking the order and had the order repeated back for confirmation. Arriving home I open the plate too see once again the order is in correct. Called the establishment to let them know that they had given me the wrong order and I again repeated the original order. I was told to come back to the restaurant. Drove back just to be told no, that they would not correct my order and what they gave me is what I ordered. Again this isnāt the 1st 2nd nor 3rd time that theyāve messed up a simple order.
How do you hand off an incorrect order an tell the customer this is what they ordered? This is not what I came for. Clearly listening skills were not being presented during this call nor previous times.
If my order was indeed correct, why tell me to come back? LOL, then was told āwe asked you double check your orderā
Iāve ordered from numerous Haitian and non Haitian restaurants. My orders were always on point. Shoot some of the Haitian establishments Iāve ordered from double check and present the order in front of me before bagging it. So again Iām not understanding the silly errors you continually make (dine in and take out).
Some people may be in a rush and might not have the time to untie, unbag, and open every container just to double check too see if youāve payed attention..especially for the price Iām paying!
Thank you for the convenience but this place have now become an inconvenience. Itās just hype honestly. I truly hope you take better measures on strengthening and developing excellent customer service skills, retaining customer satisfaction and being passionate about this business, not just money hungry,...

If I realized they could not handle a large group of customers (party of 11) I would have taken my mother elsewhere. I am big on customer service and customer experience. Our waitress who Iāve had serve me several times previously is justā¦..(I donāt have a nice word for it) but a few examples are weāll make a request and she returns and asks us what we asked from her after 20/25 minutes. Sheāll ask us questions that donāt make sense. While sitting down to dine in she is taking our order and when my fiancĆ© says the type of rice he wants she asks if itās to go? Why would only one item we order be to go if weāre dining in????
My last straw was last night for my mothers birthday celebration we arrive on time for our reservation and the host says no one told her about a party of 11. I had email confirmation. They proceed to set up while we wait. I brought in an ice cream cake and told this same waitress from above to put it in the freezer. 2 hours later when we are ready to sing Happy Birthday she tells us no one put it in the freezer or fridge so itās melted. She offers us a cake they have and will bring out. They bring out a SLICEā¦..just for my mom. I brought an entire cake for everyone to enjoy and they thought a fair substitute would be 1 slice for the birthday person. No apology from the owner of the restaurant. We ask if the rest of the table can have cake she says thatās the best they can do. We ask to remove the value of the cake off the check and she hands us cash for the value of the cake that was ruined minus the value of the āfreeā cake slice they gave us. In addition service and wait was slow and at one point we were just ignored. We had to wave the staff down numerous times.
I will not be returning. I can say the food is good which is why I have a 3 but customer service matters sooooo much more to me. Having out of towners and family coming to celebrate my mother birthday this was embarrassing. As an owner you apologize for any mistake staff make and make it up x10. Iāve been to restaurants that have messed up a cake and the owner was extremely apologetic, brought us an entire cake, discounted our bill SIGNIFICANTLY (not for the cost of the cake but for the inconvenience), and if we decided to return our next visit would also be discounted. Ā Ā Ā Read moreWent in there today and got myself some Haitian patties (chicken is my favorite) this is my 3rd time going to this place because it's so convenient I don't have to go all the way into Boston for some delicious patties. First 2 times it was ok the patties have potential to be a lot better, they're definitely not like the places in Boston but that was fine with me; however, today was a total different story! I went and picked up some patties and by the time I grabbed the 2nd one out the bag to eat I noticed that it was so flat and it looked overcooked and clearly wasn't made with love so I put it back in the bag. Unfortunately, my boyfriend grabbed it and bit into it and I swear that thing was like biting into a brick !!! He could've lost his front teeth!!! So whatever he gets into his second bite now he's in the center where all the meat is and it starts smelling like spoiled food...I'm sorry but if a restaurant doesn't know how to properly store their food correctly they shouldn't be open!!! It smelled terrible!! most likely the chicken was really old or it was left out for a long time and they still managed to give it out to their customers... that is pure FOUL !!! So disgusted! I'm not going back to this place again! My friends have always warned me about this place but I've always had a good experience because apparently their chicken always smells rotten and bad! And they still serve it with no shame. I'm going to stop writing and go take care of my boyfriend who's butt is on fire right now from these patties but I will let you all know that I'll keep going into Boston where I KNOW the patties are freshly baked and every time I go into the Boston they are always fresh out the oven!!!
