Lanna Thai Restaurant — Restaurant in Everett

Our first time at Lanna Thai. Our initial impression was very good. The outdoor appearance, the entry and the interior décor was very appealing. Great architecture and finishes. Really top quality. It was a Monday evening so there were very few customers. We counted approximately 6 tables occupied. There were only 2 folks working the front end of the restaurant. We were greeted and received water by one man. Semi friendly, but the vibe was off.....not feeling welcomed and no warm feeling was conveyed. The other man that was our waiter was less than friendly....very cool demeanor. He was wearing a mask and spoke in a heavy accent that made it difficult to understand him. We did not feel welcome. The food was quite good with the spice level spot on. We ordered beverages and prawn wrap appetizers that were quite good. For our main dishes we ordered Phad Thai w/chicken, red curry w/pork , white rice side, pineapple fried rice all 3 stars. Very, very good food. Portions a bit on the small side, but quality food. Our overall impression was we will come back but we strongly suggest that they have a young lady hostess for greeting and seating. The man with the mask seemed kind of angry. Almost disturbing. He needs training or keep him in the back of the restaurant. The waitstaff needs to be warm, friendly and set the tone for a dining experience. Not just dropping off food..... We tell it like it is. Hoping that management will take these...

The food is fabulous. Lana Thai has been my favorite place to come even when they were in their North Everett location and I've been coming here for probably 20 years and the food is just delicious. It's why I keep coming back today.

I had a craving for The stuffed chicken wings. There's nobody that I can even think of within driving distance that has them as good.

And so I got the mixed appetizer tray and a bowl of a wonton soup and I just love the broth. It's an utterly delicious experience.

Souk is a delightful server. The cooks are FAST even though it was a busy Monday night. Which is often a slow night at other restaurants.

I live up by the Canadian border by Baker lake and so whenever I'm down in this area I've got a few good restaurants that I like to come to and this is definitely one of them.

Thank you for being so consistent and so courteous and welcoming. I really enjoyed this experience.

The place is just beautiful. The ambiance is nice and quiet and the takeout orders have been just flowing in and out even though it's a little bit later in the day. I'm just really one of many, many people that find this a real satisfying place to enjoy a rich...

There were two of us, and we were hungry. This restaurant caught our eye. we were just nearby.. it was dinner time, we both ordered soup, Tom kha whith tofu and Tom yum. and one appetizer for two. I asked for hot water to drink before eating. the staff was very friendly, and everything was brought to us quite quickly, which was very nice. I started drinking water, the taste was very bad and strange, I could not drink it. we ate, paid, and left, and then the most unpleasant thing began. Literally 15-20 minutes after eating, I started to feel sick, my stomach was churning... the night went badly, I started having diarrhea, and my stomach was churning terribly, I hate this feeling... in the morning I called a friend to ask how he was, and told me that I felt bad after our dinner, a friend told me that the same thing happened to him, and he still feels bad.. I don’t know what’s going on in their kitchen, but this place definitely needs a sanitary inspection for the quality of water of products and food additives!!! If we both felt bad and from different dishes... they need inspection for sure. This is...
