They double charged me for an order, they kept telling me they were going to take care of it. Every time I would call and speak to the manager on site she would say that she is going to work on it and give me a call back. Every time I did not receive a call back within the time frame she gave me I would wait a day or two and then call her again. She would then tell me an excuse why she hadn't got to fixing the double charge. This went on for a while. I reached out to my bank who told me to try to resolve it with the vendor. I reached out to the corporate office who told me to reach out to my bank, I replied to them that I did reach out to my bank and that they asked me to try to resolve it with them. I did not receive a response. I still have not received a response from the local site with an update. I reach back out to my bank to let them know that I've been strung along and that nobody is getting back to me. Because of the time frame of me waiting around for them, they can no longer dispute this charge. This is incredibly frustrating, if the manager wasn't able to do the reversal, she could have issued some sort of gift card for the amount that I paid twice. Also if she was unable to do this, rather than telling me she's going to keep calling me back, and never doing so, she could have tried to resolve it differently. This would have allowed me to contact my bank again sooner to let them know there's nothing that the site could do and potentially have disputed it through my card. I'm incredibly disappointed as we would go here pretty often after our swim workout to get our meals in. But after this experience and the runaround, and the fact that if this ever happened again I would probably be in the same boat of being out a second charge, I really don't...
Read moreI have always loved MOD pizza, I’m excited that there in our neighborhood now. You can tell the staff is still getting use to the flow, since it’s a new crew and store. Overall, I was still happy with my service. I love myself a thin crust pizza thrown into a fire oven and only for $9 (regular size). They also have a wide range of cheeses, sauces, and toppings to make your perfect pizza. Oh, and it doesn’t cost to customize a pizza! The only thing I wish they would add to the menu is a classic margherita pizza with globs of mozzarella and chicken wings! Although, the pizza is at an awesome price, I think the salad is overpriced. It will cost you $7 to enjoy a side salad (mini size) with your $9 pizza, that’s 75 percent of the cost of your pizza for a mini. You might as well go to Safeway to pick up the salad but skip the frozen pizza aisle lol. Maybe add a discount to the salad with a purchase of a pizza? Most places also serve a pint of beer which I usually partake, I’m not sure about this location since I went through...
Read moreI was not looking at the pieces as I was eating, so when I looked at the last 2, I took a pic. One piece has 1 mushroom and a couple pieces of sausage. The other piece has one small mushroom and 15 sausage bits, so portions are not well spread out.
Each piece was 3 bites to the crust :(. So the large pizza is really about 6-7", unless you are a crust connoisseur. I will say that the chicken sausage was pretty tasty. I could not taste the pizza sauce though.
Just under $50 for 2 pizzas, a pocket pie and 2 no name cakes was a bit much. This is not your average pizza, and I am sure that is what they are going for. There are a lot of topping and add on options, makes it kind of fun to build something.
Still hungry after eating, I ended up choking down most of the crust. The no name cake is the star. It is a really well-done ding dong. Pizza was just ok, pizza pie was better, but also small. I think the white sauce was the reason I was in the bathroom 45 min...
