During our last days, the inner carnivore called for Brazilian and so based on the rating this place was selected. Parking is at a premium since its located next to a heavily trafficked street. If you do find a parking slot, you must pay at the machine. As you enter, you have 2 areas where you can either select your sides for the Buffett or you can pay by the pound. We were taken to our seats and well this is where the perception game comes into play. It can be observed that its a community restaurant and area Brazilians have been eating there for years. Not only that but it has a bar area and people from the outside where going in to drink and listen to music. As a Texan, in Boston eating in a Brazilian restaurant where everyone is speaks Portuguese, you can infer we were out of place. I will not get stuck on this yet it was an uncomfortable feeling at times during our dinner. We ordered 2 Buffetts and kids ate chicken fingers and fries. The portion of fries was HUGE along with the chicken fingers. The beef, chicken, sausage, etc started to arrive. The issue there, as compared to other places, only one person was bringing the meats. Real nice young man yet only spoke Portuguese so my Spanish helped but not enough. Our regular waiter was more preoccupied with the bar and other duties so this combined with the young man serving us the meats made it vexing at times. When they were assisting us, the were very friendly. As most Brazilian restaurants, there is a cold table with veggies and other items which had that Chinesse Buffett feel when you know items have been sitting there for a while. Sadly, on this one experience, I wouldn't recommend it to eat yet you can see the bar scene was fun. At $74 it was a...
Read moreI went here this evening for dinner with my family and was extremely dissatisfied. The service was horrible! My family and I sat in for the all you can eat buffet. Every time we went up to get fresh sides/salads, we had been stopped and confronted on our way back to our seats and told that we had to pay for our food. This had happened several times after stating that my family was there for the all you can eat buffet. Then, I had ordered a Pina Colada which was not sweet enough. So I went up to the sides bar to get some condensed milk (sweet milk), there were only plastic bowls so I proceeded to get a side of sweet milk when I hear someone yelling “Hey! Hey! Hey!” I noticed the other customers in line were looking at me. Then I felt someone tapping on my shoulder, it was my waiter. Assuming that since I had a styrofoam bowl, it meant that I was trying to take it home (which was not the case). He caused all this commotion to tell me that I could not take it home, that plastic wear is for takeout only. I would understand if I was filling up a container with food, but over a few teaspoons of condensed milk? It was extremely embarrassing, He was very condescending, and I did not appreciate the scene that was made in front of so many people. I was so embarrassed my family and I left and did not even get to make it half way...
Read moreI brought my family here. My wife told me about the place. We were all very excited. However, number one food. The food was not that great. We got the two big wooden platters of meats with rice. The steak itself was not that juicy. It was kind of dry with a bit of flavor. The rice was pretty great. The potatoes were also good. We also got to go to the buffet line and get some sausages. However, it's not a very blind friendly situation nor accessible number two service. The woman attending us was amazing. Very friendly and was very attentive to all of our needs. Number three desserts. Very limited desserts number four. I would not go here for a one-on-one date. More for a group of people to go and celebrate, but I would not recommend this place. Considering the price. It gets very pricey very quickly. I wouldn't go back. I was disappointed. I've had other Brazilian food. My favorite part here were the ribs in the buffet line. It was the only thing tender juicy and flavorful. If I ever went back I would probably just have ribs, sausage and rice. Not the big platter and not really anything else. Drinks were limited and they didn't have anything to drink with mango which was disappointing so I just stuck to...
