I got to this McDonald's at 9:30 PM. I got out of the car with my 2 kids and 3 nieces and when I got to the door, the staff never told me that they are closed. And that I have to use the drive-thru. Confused because I could have sworn they are open later than that especially on a saturday. The kids were upset because they were looking forward to eating in the restaurant rather than eating in the car. We went back to the car and then I popped open my Google Maps and saw that the McDonald's was supposed to be open till 11:00 p.m. just to make sure I went on the McDonald's website and saw that same exact thing, Lobby hours are till 11:00 p.m. so while in the parking lot I called the McDonald's and asked the associate what time they close and he told me 10:00. I told him that the associate I spoke to by the locked door told me they closed already. He spoke on the side with an Associate and I can hear some communication and then he told me that if I'm still outside to please come in. I then took all the kids out again and went to the door and it will still locked and I told the associate that I spoke over the phone and they told me I can come in. The associate open the door and apologize to me and we made our way inside and sat down. And no one was at the register so I started to use the self-checkout kiosk. Over my shoulder I heard one of the associates nondescriptly say out loud "they're ordering to go right? Cuz we closed" and I stopped Midway on the kiosk and went to the register and politely asked if I should even bother ordering because I was just told to come in so I could eat but now you guys are saying that I have to order to go? I would have just gone to the drive-thru if that was the case. I then heard the associate I spoke over the phone with telling the guy that said we're closed and they need to order to go, it was something along the line of "bro I told him to come in" upset now I told my kids get up and let's go. The associate that was mopping the floor and had unlocked the door for me apologizing said that they keep changing things and I'm sorry, and I told him it's all right. Because it was not his fault for sure. I then proceeded through the drive-thru and the teller was very polite and nice, even the associate who handed me my food was very polite, but I think whoever is in charge of the night crew there during the evening is taking advantage or making calls that aren't accurate with the listing online or the McDonald's website. I am a loyal McDonald's customer and the one time I gathered all the kids for a night out to come enjoy, I was turned away because a few Associates decided to close the door early. I saw similar reviews as I skimmed through so I know I'm not...
Read moreUsually not going to rate a fast food place bc let's be honest it's a lot of underpaid teenagers and anybody can have a bad day especially at a high pace job like that. But it's consistent with this restaurant. Service at this place is terrible and not just the employees it's the managers too. Went in there once to grab a doordash. Wasn't there but girl at counter told me it'd be a couple minutes. Looked on there preparing screen and didn't see it so asked the girl to check if they got the order. Girl goes in the back to ask manager. Manager doesn't even look and just tells her to tell me to be patient. So 10 mins goes by and other ppl are coming in and ordering and getting there food and me and this guy who ordered online are just standing there. Girl at the front keeps apologizing. Manager finally comes over and asks what the guy who order online ordered. He shows her and not even sounding apologetic just says "well I never got that." We both obviously know that. That's why we asked about it and the cashier asked about it. She goes and makes the order and then comes back to me and does the same speech. Still no apology or anything. Like to say this is the only time I've had issues with picking up doordash there but definitely not the first or will it be the last. And then as a customer just in probably past 30 days I've been given the wrong food twice in drive thru, couldn't get in bc they forgot to unlock the doors on one side, and just today was handed a milkshake in drive thru that was visibly leaking that dripped all over my clothes as soon as I grabbed it. Really wish this wasn't the...
Read moreAttempted to place an order for this location via the app. The transaction would not complete and directed me to see a crew member. When I went inside, thee were two other customers with the same issue. A gentleman that identified himself as the local "operator" (franchise owner) was not very helpful. First, the customer ahead of me had ordered a double cheeseburger from the $2 menu but customized it to be without cheese. The "operator" refused to honor that choice and required the customer to order the sandwich as a double hamburger instead for $2.49. He said that manipulating the app to save the 49 cents was not allowed. As for my order, I had an offer for a free large fries. I was also ordering a Quarter Pounder and a large sweet tea. The operator refused to honor the free large fries. So I abandoned my entire order and went elsewhere for lunch. I cannot believe that the operator of this location is so greedy and stingy that, after customers ha already been inconvenienced by the app not properly communicating with the restaurant causing the customer to have to come inside, that he feels the need to squeeze an extra 49 cents from one customer that had otherwise ordered within the allowed options of the app and to deny me free large fries that he could see were being offered via the app. Very bad...
