We decided to try this new sushi place after our typical weekend shopping, and it turned out to be an absolutely delightful experience from start to finish. Every aspect of this place was exceptional.

First and foremost, the quality and freshness of the sushi were outstanding. Each piece was meticulously crafted with precision, reflecting the chef's skill and dedication to their craft. The flavors were perfectly balanced and truly delicious.

The variety of sushi options available was impressive. From appetizers to creative specialty rolls, there was something to cater to every palate. We couldn't resist trying their unique Sashimi Jalapeno Salad, which offered a delightful twist on traditional flavors.

The service we received was impeccable. The staff members were attentive and extremely friendly. They readily provided recommendations when we were unsure about what to order, enhancing our dining experience.

With the first bite of Oyakodon , I was 10 years old again, sitting at the dinner table with my kind and loving Japanese stepmother and I felt a wave of pure joy wash over me! Yu Sushi is a true taste of home, if you’re homeland is Japan or if were just a little girl raised with the food , if not, then you will experience truly authentic flavors and dishes from Yu Sushi. The dish I had my first visit, (and again the next night) Oyakodon, which actually means parent and child, is a chicken and egg dish cooked together with a “sauce” that is very light and slightly sweet served over rice. The “sauce” is absorbed into the rice and meat..it’s just delicious! It was my favorite meal as a kid and I have not been able to find it anywhere since then, Until Now!😁😁😁. . . I need to mention that I’ve been to other Japanese restaurants and asked if they could make this for me and they didn’t even know what it was.. so that should tell you that these people are making Real Food! Yu Sushi is one of those places that immediately makes you feel like you’ve discovered something special. From the moment I walked in, I was blown away by the decor—everything about the space feels thoughtfully designed, blending modern aesthetics with a cozy vibe. The cleanliness of the place really stood out to me, too. It’s immaculate, making the whole experience feel fresh and comfortable.

As for the food, I couldn’t resist trying the spicy tuna roll and the Philly roll, and I’m so glad I did. The spicy tuna roll had just the right amount of heat to it, with fresh tuna that practically melts in your mouth. The Philly roll was another favorite—smooth avocado, creamy cream cheese, and perfectly smoked salmon all coming together in one bite. Both rolls were delicious and had that perfect balance of flavors.
