Ajika Ramen — Restaurant in Ewing Township

This is our second time coming here and the food is good, but the service this time was not so great. The first time we came here the woman that greeted us was very kind and pleasant to talk to. She talked to us about the menu options she was happy to answer any questions we had etc. it was a good experience. But this young lady today was quite the opposite. Didn’t greet us when we came in, not even a hello or anything and just pointed to a seat for us to sit. Then we place our order. The food comes out rather quickly, and everything was fine until we ordered our bubble tea. If the lady had actually stopped and listened to what we’re saying she would’ve gotten our order right, but instead she had this demeanor like we were bothering her. She bought us back fruit tea with tapioca which is not what we asked for, she replied “that’s all we have” and had a take it or leave it attitude and went back to what she was we doing but when we asked her for the fruit popping we had last time she kept insisting that we didn’t know what we were talking about and they didn’t have it. It was only when we said we didn’t want to drink it and send it back, that she begrudgingly took the drinks back and then magically popped out with the correct drinks we asked for and then went back to her table to talk about what just happened . After all that I completely lost my appetite and we asked for boxes, paid for our food and left. I’m not saying we wouldn’t come here again but our two visits were only a week apart and it amazes me in the difference of service...

Was super excited to try this Ramen Place reading the reviews…. But what a disappointment… The food is average but the service, the host is too rude. When we arrived and saw the host, he did not bother to greet just rudely said “sit anywhere” Then while taking the order he was not attentive and then again came to ask what was the dish we ordered LOL We were given the cheque while we were in the middle of finishing our meal. We found is very rude and weird of the host.

Ambiance& Service- -The restaurant has ample of space and indoor and outdoor sitting. -The service is not very good.

Food- We ordered- -Wasbi Shumai - good is taste Chicken Shoyu Ramen - not good tasted very bland -Shrimp Katsu Curry - we did not like it, the katsu sauce was very thick and the rice was clumped.

I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant because of the rudeness...

Wish I could say I loved it but I didn’t. They are NOT kid friendly. My 7 year old son ordered something that he ended up not liking, kindly let the waitress (she wore this super bright red lipstick) know he didn’t like the way it tasted and asked if it could be removed or exchanged and apologized for the inconvenience but she then proceeded to suck her teeth and tell my son “we don’t do free samples” and demanded we pay for the uneaten and unwanted food. Tried to ask for hire management and she only became angrier rolling her eyes and speaking in her native language but making it very apparent she was saying nasty things about me and my family just so rude.
