I normally don’t leave reviews, but I felt this experience needed to be shared. I had to drive back to the store after paying $17 for a portion so small it honestly felt like a joke, better suited for a kids meal. I didn’t want to cause a scene, but I figured they’d want to know and see it for themselves.
When I pulled into the parking lot, I could hear loud noise coming from the building. I expected the place to be packed based on how loud it was. Nope. It was just 4 or 5 employees yelling, laughing, and carrying on inside. When I walked in and asked for the manager, she didn’t introduce herself, didn’t offer a real apology just took the item, said “sorry,” and remade it. That was it. No conversation, no acknowledgment of the inconvenience. I felt completely brushed off.
To make matters worse, they had their music playing over the store music. Their music was coming from a huge JBL speaker that had racial slurs with what felt like every other line in the lyrics. I was honestly relieved my kids weren’t with me. It’s hard to believe that’s acceptable in any professional setting. And when I asked to speak to the manager, all the employees turned and stared. I felt completely judged just for calmly voicing a concern.
At the end of the day, it’s not just about a remade order, it’s about how customers are treated.
Also Chipotle, if you see this, I find it very convenient that the phone number you have listed for complaints is not working when you call but there is also no email or customer feedback available.

Read moreI’m done with thIs Exeter location! I have yet to get a decent meal from there out of 7-8 visits since they opened. I’m guessing I’m not alone because I was the only customer in the store throughout my entire visit. Their parking lot is always empty. Tonight I asked for double meat but got less than 1/2 spoonful of each and when I reminded them it was double meat, not half/half, I was informed that I did in fact receive double meat by their standards. Funny, Reading and Douglassville give full heaping spoonfuls without protest. I ordered a carne asada bowl with extra chicken but only got 4.5 little strips of carne asada! At other locations my bowls are usually overflowing and have to be compacted with the lid. This time, the bowl contents didn’t even make it to the top. The girl serving me had to keep asking me what I said because she was talking over her shoulder to coworkers and forgetting what I asked for. I ended up with the wrong beans but luckily I like both types. I asked for a large drink and chips/guac. The cashier forgot my large cup. When I asked for the cup he couldn’t remember what he just rang up because he was busy talking to his coworkers. The chip bag had about 1/2 the normal amount. Literally nothing was right. The meat and rice were dry as if left out all day. You would think they are taking money out of these kids pay for serving normal portions by how skimpy they are. Definitely not worth the money I spent. I could have had a 6-8oz steak dinner at one of the 3 chain steakhouses in the area for...
Read moreMy son and daughter wanted to take me somewhere for Father's Day. I knew the place they picked out would be crowded. I had not been to a chipotle's since going to the one in Wyomissing years ago. The new one near me that took over the old wendy spot was a good place to go, I thought.
Only one other couple in the restaurant, it immediately appeared over staffed. When I got to the end of the order line, they didn't offer me a drink or try to upsell me anything. I had to ask for a drink. My son was the last in line. He paid for all three of us, but they sold him four drinks for three people.
My food tasted good, but the burrito was very tiny. The burrito did not come with any chips. I told my son that I thought that you got chips with your food like at Moe's. My son went up to see if we were supposed to get chips and salsa with it.
He came back to the seat and said I couldn't make them understand my question.
We were in there for a long time, so we could all talk for a bit. The place was clean. The staff looked bored. I overheard that you cannot order from their drivethrough window. You need to order ahead, then the window is for pick up.
They did not have a lot of business for the three hours. that...
