Alejandra's was packed with happy locals on a Monday when we arrived and it sure smelled great when we walked in through door. Unfortunately, it was all downhill from there.
The complimentary chips were rock hard. My wife and I took to soaking the chip-stones into the mild salsa for 30 seconds to minimize future dental losses.
My wife had the fish fillet which had the saltiness of caviar. The fish seemed to have little salt bombs in it which took over your palate in a sneaky-pete fashion. This ruined the entrée. I had the bacon wrapped shrmip rellenos which were over-cooked and hard and rapidly cooled. The shrimp were old. Did I mention that my wife's fish was too salty?
The dinner plate the food was served on was lukewarm and rapidly cooled along with the food on it. Strange for a Mexican restaurant.
The rice was bland. The best taste by far on both plates was the refried beans.

The place was kinda busy groups spread out to eat. They were really quick with the food. Food was all individually plated in nice to-go no spill containers. Food was delicious 😋 salsa was really addictive. I am looking forward to going back. As far as to what we ordered, it was a green sauce wet burrito (pork was chunked not shredded- wish it was shredded), a bean and cheese burrito, 2 chicken tacos(really good flavor of chicken), and chicken enchilladas (per my daughter a little too much chicken). All came with rice and beans. Ordered chips and salsa. Overall really...

Premium ingredients, all size groups easily accommodated even on short notice. Beer on tap and in the bottle. Parking onsite. No live music, though. Small plates, vegan options, hearty portions, handcrafted presentation. Leave a fat tip to show your appreciation. A stones' throw to Monarch Stadium. Very safe location with the police station a few blocks away. Prices are crazy! This place is...
