We happened to be driving through Exeter yesterday and saw this place to eat. It was later in the day but it didn't look too busy so we thought we would give it a try. Their menu and set up is something like Chipotle but it doesn't even come close to that restaurant. Here are the many reasons why. First, the younger employees have A-T-T-I-T-U-D-E and 0 customer service. They give you minuscule amounts of beans, rice, chicken (or whatever the meat is you choose). I had to ask for lots of other toppings to make it a decent size burrito but I still left very hungry. My significant other ordered a quesadilla and WHAT A JOKE! You have to see the picture to see what THEY think is a quesadilla. A heated tortilla with cheese in it and the toppings/chicken on the outside on the plate. WHATTT??!!! We were not impressed with this place whatsoever. I am all about giving small town restaurants business but this place needs to do some MAJOR changes. I guess the other reviews supports what I am saying. But if you see no changes, then that proves management doesn't care either so why support them? It's your choice folks. Also, please be aware they will have a screen where you are PROMPTED to leave a TIP if you are paying by a card (use cash to get around this). HA! I am ordering in line, why do I need to leave a TIP? This is ridiculous and if no tip, watch out for the EXTRA added attitude. If you aren't waitressing me, don't...
Read moreI have been coming here for years, and today is the day I say no more to Exeter las olas. I have never in my entire life ate a more terrible chicken burrito than the one I just had today. I’m not sure whether after they made it they left it out next to other curbside orders for 40 minutes or if they didn’t even bother preparing it. After only 5 minutes after picking it up, the tortilla was hard, and cold, along with the chicken and rice that was also cold. I arrived early before my designated pickup time and received it 10 minutes after the designated time. I don’t know what else to say but las olas is not the establishment it once used to be. I’m not sure if it’s the employees that are not bothering to nicely prepare food for takeout since there’s no customer to watch them make it, or if it’s lack of enforced expectations from management, or maybe both. This isn’t the first time I’ve also had a crusty cold stone tortilla either, I feel as though sometimes the employees don’t even bother to heat up the tortilla. The quality of this food does not reflect the price. I would highly advise everyone for future reference if you are to eat here to order inside the building so that you may make sure your food is being...
Read moreCame in around 6pm.. kind of slow at first but gave us time to overlook the menu..the place was split so you could either eat there or take it home and enjoy orborder ahead and just pick it up! I know right!? The options!. The combinations available this being my first time there took me awhile to figure out what I wanted... I proceeded to let people "jump" in front of me so as to see what I could of may be receiving. One of the gentlemen was surprised to learn that it was my first time and stated "everything is good" .. after some time I ordered the steak burrito and from there I was able to choose my rice and 3 choices of beans .. folllowed by Pico de Gallo, guacamole (extra charge) lettuce cilantro and lime added my burrito was wrapped tightly and complimented by a fruit punch jarritos my meal was complete... All the flavors and ingredients were fresh and blended very well together! The atmosphere and the music was welcoming and very upbeat, the staff was pleasant, proficient and productive to get the line fed and moved along very well.. I recommend this place to any out of Towners or even you locals who haven't been yet to come give this place a try... You won't be...
