The Chocolatier — Local services in Exeter

EDITED REVIEW!! The Chocolatier is by far, one of the most friendliest and caring businesses in Exeter...and their chocolate is just as amazing! At first I was disappointed after receiving my first purchase from them and decided to leave a review. I was upset at the size of 1/2 of my order and stated that looks can be very deceiving and to be aware of that when shopping at chocolate shops.

Not only did they give me the option to return the chocolates (still sealed) despite it being a busy Valentines day, but after leaving my review the Manager contacted me to further discuss the issue I had with my order. The Chocolatier refunded me for my entire order and didn't expect me to return anything at all. Never have I ever, come across such an amazing small business with such wonderful customer service. Despite me leaving a honest yet "low star" review, they still decided to reach out to me and offered me more than I had even expected. My issue was minor and only had to do with a certain box of chocolates I had received out of two other items. After my first purchase at the Chocolatier I can assure you this is my new favorite spot for sweets. The chocolate was never the issue and in fact makes it difficult for this business to disappoint.

I am still in shock at how caring and giving the chocolatier is and because of having such a wonderful experience with my first purchase, I will most definitely be back. You cannot beat outstanding...

This place is simply amazing. My family is from Exeter and I was spoiled as a young child by having candy form here. Literally no other candy can compare. We have moved all over the U.S. and always order candy from here to be shipped for holidays and special occasions. They have a wonderful selection that is high quality. The staff is always friendly and amazing. My order ships and arrives quickly and is always packed to accommodate for the weather. When I share this yumminess, everyone wants to know where it is from because it is that GOOD. You cant go wrong with any item :) The website does not have everything, so...

I have been buying chocolates etc at the Chocolatier since my oldest was born 34 years ago for every Easter, Valentines day etc for our 3 children. They grew up eating this delicious chocolate and would never settle for anything else even in their adulthood now. We have had Perugian chocolate from Italy, Swiss chocolate and others when traveling but none has even come close to the Chocolatier chocolate.
