Service was excellent. Very kind- engaging and attentive. However - the price for what you receive is pretty high. The bowls (while satisfying) are over priced. They are charging 15$ for a small/medium size bowl of soup that should really either be 10$ or bigger portions. My friend and I both ordered a glass of wine and were shocked when it arrived. The Chardonnay was 11/12 dollars a glass and the serving size looked like a shot glass of wine. They either need a bigger pour or a smaller glass for less money. The tables were very low and close together. My friend (who is 6’1) was hunched over slurping her soup. We both had to move tables to even get into our space- and we are relatively thin. I feel like this spot could be a positive place in Exeter - especially because of the kind demeanor of the staff- but it is way over priced for what we got. I hope the owner will take this in to consideration because I would love to see the place stay with some adjustments. Would I go back? No. I don’t have 65$ to spend on two small/medium bowls of soup and two...
Read moreI have driven and walked past this restaurant multiple times and finally stopped by. The building used to have a small Italian pizzeria here. Fellow Google Maps reviewer Olga Shestopalova gave this noodle 🍜 🍻 bar a good review so I thought 🤔 I would check it out. Service was very friendly. The staff were smiling 😁 and I was checked on multiple times. The only issue was that I wasn't asked if I wanted anything to drink, though I was given complimentary water 💦. I was not offered dessert after my meal. The menu is small but I find it very helpful because it takes me less time to decide on what I want. I had the Pad Thai 🍜 with chicken 🐔 and the Vegetable Dumplings. Both were good 👍! I was given both chopsticks 🥢 and a fork. It is pricey but with today's inflation and it is downtown Exeter I can understand the cost. Online ordering is available. The place was busy and even the online orders were numerous. Window 🪟 seating and bar 🍻 are available. I recommend a visit especially if you are in the mood...
Read moreExcellent. I went in about 8pm on Saturday and there were a few tables sitting down. I sat at the mostly empty counter and was promptly greeted by a gentleman I take to be the owner. I quickly order the crispy bok choy and the OBA Ramen. The crispy book choy is delightful. It came out very hot and was delicious. Light and crispy with great flavor. I crushed that and right as I finished my ramen came out. Standard large bowl with nice slices of pork and a soft boiled egg. Broth is incredible, tiny touch sweet maybe but very good. The pork has a nice roasted flavor and the noodles not too soft. I only had water to drink and did not see a cocktail menu. The bar does not have your traditional bottle display from what I could tell. I will definitely be coming back to try more delicious items. And order more...
