Szechuan Taste — Restaurant in Exeter

Great take out experience. Got there at about 8:15pm and the dining room was pretty busy.

One of the staff was having her own dinner but immediately saw me and came up to me at the front counter to take my order, which was beef with broccoli and a beef lo mein. It was a pleasant surprise that the beef with broccoli came with white rice for no extra charge.

It was ready in 10 minutes, packaged with utensils and fortune cookies.

The food was delicious. The beef was tender and not chewy, the broccoli was freshly cooked, and the sauce was flavorful but not spicy. The lo mein noodles were fresh and uniformly cooked, not sticky and it was the same tender beef as in the other dish.

My wife and I finished it all and we were stuffed because the portions were hearty.

There was available parking right in front of the entrance, even though the downtown area was pretty busy at the time.

I regret ordering food from this "place!"

I am very discouraged , and Quality of taste was terrible and chicken fingers were globbed in oil ,and tasted like OLD SOAKY GLUE! Boneless spare ribs were not fully cooked and had NO TASTE! PLUS the "chicken teriyaki " tasted like rubber glued on a stick and PEWWWW/ BLAND !!!!!!!!

We got a "SAD PUPPU PLATTA FOR 2" and the food was ( 100 percent ) "pre-heated!

I'm telling you , that a can of "Campbell's chicken noodle soup" has a way better satisfying taste and health , than this CHINESE JOINT!

This Chinese joint, needs the" FDA" to step- in and inspect the meats and sanitary codes!

I am a certified CHEF and I am dismayed and very upset , about paying for food that was disgusting and pre- heated !

We has the boneless ribs with white rice, (which also came with chicken wings, nice surprise), vegetable lo main and beef teriyaki (which also came with chicken wings).

The food was very tasty and not over seasoned. The portions were great and we were able to share everything and still have left overs. We were 4, two adults, a teenager and a four year old. The tables have fried noodles and dipping sauce which we all Love and the service is fast and efficient.

Cons: all of the rice is pre made with eggs and I am severely allergic to eggs so we all opted for the white rice.
