Too long didn't read Really good food for a really good price
Note: if you read this a year from now this is a reveiw from COVID times so obviously this will become important in my review.
Covid/sanitization -I'm very pleasantly surprised by the agency, urgency and care put into protecting people at Lexie's. I unfortunately only have a bike so most of the time I have to do in person meals. I'm always a little nervous when first entering a new business because you never know what you're going to find, and the threat always hangs over your head. Lexie's is doing an amazing job at comforting me that they are doing an amazing job. -They are doing tracking currently if you dine in and im happy for that, you always want to know if you have it before you give it to someone else. -if they're busy they have you wait outside, this is an absolute positive for me. there have been businesses in this situation that neglect cleaning for the sake of speed. Lexie's balances both. -most of the time when they're busy they're busy with pickup or drive in people from the 5 times I've been there so far, just chill out and rememeber everyone has to get through this together. -once you're in everything is wiped down before you sit down and after, and everything is disposable if you are concerned about sanitization of utensils.
Employees -great! The waitresses are very kind, respectful, and polite, doesn't feel like any sort of fast food environment, if anything feels like a nice classy diner.
Food I'll be honest once I find something I like I just keep ordering it so I've only had like 5 things on the menu, they put a ring on it, the guy burger, the bistro fries, and the mocha shake. But every single one of those things have been amazing. I think the best thing is the moistness of the burger mixed with the pure punch of flavor that is their sauce selection. And the milkshake is creamy, thick, and perfectly rich without being too heavy. It's really hard to compete with the price either especially in this town where things tend to be a...

The other did not have tomato on it as ordered and strangely the grilled onions are red onion, thin strings barely cooked - not very good, the third came as ordered. Fries seem very over done (maybe it's the style here, but it's not my jam). Onion rings are good! Not overcooked. Chocolate milkshake came as ordered and was delicious!
Service - Whoever was working the counter needs to leave the service industry. It's okay to get overwhelmed, it's okay to complain about customers while in BOH - we've all done it at some point honestly - but to do it RIGHT around the corner, just a step out of sight, so loudly, repeating the complaint over and over again is ridiculous. A man politely asked about a beer he had ordered because it had been a while, and she told him it would be a few more minutes. She came out eventually (after her loud venting) with the beer in a can with a cup on it. Seriously?! Not even poured from the can or tap - this should have been handed to him when he ordered. It's not like it takes a long time to take a can out of a fridge and hand it over. There is no way this kind man didn't hear her loud complaints. How uncomfortable for him and it made me so uncomfortable to witness it.
Although the food did not meet expectations, I would have given this place another chance. But the rudeness to the customer - for this reason alone, I won't be coming back.
Atmosphere - cute place, but the service makes it less than inviting. Everyone seemed overwhelmed and not...
Read moreDisappointed. I love hamburgers. It's the perfect food. I have heard nothing but great things about Lexie's. I had high expectations and maybe I expected too much. I placed an order for 5 people, to-go, two adults and 3 children. We ordered the Burning Down The House, Blue Angel, 3 plain jane's, fried pickles, truffle fries and plain fries. I wanted to get a good selection of items from the menu from which to form an opinion. There was nothing exceptional about this food. Visually underwellming and flavor was mediocre. The price was comparable to McDonald's, Wendy's and Burger King. Unfortunately the food wasn't any better and the fries are probably only better than one of the fast food burger giants. Parking is an issue. I place their food in the 'conveniance' category of cuisine. Fast food. Their was nothing convenient or fast about ordering. I phoned in my order. Was placed on hold for 3-4 minutes and was told it would be ready in 25 minutes. Arrived 35 minutes later and waited another 10. I suppose if you're bougie, love fast food, but refuse to be seen at McDonald with the common folk, this is the place for you. I would love to give it another shot. Their black bean veggie patty and milk shakes could tip the scales in a more favorable...
