Great Ice Cream, poor customer service. The ice cream was great although the service, not so much. I went in @ 330 on a Monday and ordered a large cookie dough with rainbow sprinkles, mini M&Ms and hot fudge (the reason I went there was for the hot fudge as it's not the same frozen). I get home to realize I'm not seeing any hot fudge... I called and asked if its usually on the bottom, she said "No it's usually on top do you not see it? " When I said no she said " Oh it must not have been heard, is there anything else I can do for you?" 1st of all, I was the only one in the store so for them to forget is ridiculous. The girl behind the counter even asked the girl making the ice cream after I ordered it "Did you hear that?" She responded "Yes". Lesson to be learned here is always repeat what the customer orders to the one making it so there isn't any confusion. I now have a large cookie dough ice cream that I could have gotten a Gallon of at Hannaford for half the price... Didn't even offer to fix the situation.... That's what happens when kids are left to run a business. Like I said great Ice cream,just make sure you get what...

The three employees weren't able to tell us which flavors did/didn't have eggs in them, and did not have basic allergen information or ingredient lists available. They were not helpful, though one did pull up a tub and said there was nothing written on it. I tried looking up ingredients online at Stillwells and Richardsons websites, but info wasn't available. Followup with owner was hostile on both sides. We were told to never come back, among other things.
Most ice cream shops we visit have basic allergen information on hand that allows us to make a choice about whether it's a place we feel comfortable ordering. I hope Stillwells will take positive steps towards inclusivity by having information available, and will provide allergen training for their employees.
EDIT TO ADD: It sounds like there are some pretty major misunderstandings going on here. If owner wants to talk to me to clear them up I am open to it.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreI ordered a root beer float and it tasted awful it didnāt taste like root beer when my friend and I tried it and I saw the girl with a seltzer can pouring so Iām not sure she even used root beer she seemed to be in training and confused I ended up throwing it out in the end and ordered another ice cream but itās to bad theirs not adults their to solve these problems and itās just young kid working their I spent 5.50 on the float and just ended up throwing it out never comming back non of the ice cream we got was good
