Ray's Pizza — Restaurant in Fair Lawn

My kids wanted pizza for lunch so I decided to order from rays because I ALWAYS order from them . I placed the order at 12:40pm time goes by and I get a phone call at 1:15pm from the delivery guy he calls to verify my address so I verify my address with him and then hang up I didn’t think anything of it . My phone then rings again it is now 1:22pm I answer it the delivery guy says “I am by Columbia bank is your address a dentist office ?” I said “ no sir it is not it’s a residents he then said “ is it on morlot ?”i said “ no sir ,” I then repeated my address to him again and i then expressed how this has never happened to me before because like I wrote earlier that I ALWAYS order from them . I also told him that my pizza is getting cold now he then hung up . I then called the business establishment and asked to speak with the manager and I told him he’s delivery guy is lost and how I always from them and I NEVER had this problem before and as I am speaking with the manager the delivery guy was calling me and I told him that ,He then apologized and said he will find out who the delivery guy and hung up. At 1:37pm the delivery guy called me again this time he asked me if I live in saddle brook which is another town . I told the delivery guy thank you but I no longer wanted the pizza its cold at this point mind you my daughter starts class again at 1:45 . I then called the business asked to speak with the manager to my surprise he answered the phone however, when u asked to speak to the manager he sighted as if he was irritated and said speaking . I then said thank you but the pizza is cold at this point and his delivery guy is in another town I just wanted my money back. He then repeated my address I told him sir I want my money back he said no problem and hung up. I will NEVER AGAIN ORDER FROM THEM THEY LOST A...

This is by far the best pizza in Fair Lawn... I'm giving them 5 stars because their food is delicious... We order the same pizza from them every single Friday... Large pie with extra sauce and fresh basil. They actually have fresh basil which some of the other places in town do not... And they actually wash their fresh basil thoroughly so it's not gritty like some other places in town... They are also very consistent and their food tastes the same each time as we're other places in town have either changed their recipe or the person making the food is using a different process and if you're craving a specific texture or flavor that can be really disappointing so we've gone full circle... Tried them all... And we have pretty much settled on Ray's indefinitely... my only complaint about this place is that when you're calling in an order delivery it sounds chaotic in the background at night and it seems like the people taking the order have a hard time understanding and we've had our order messed up a handful of times in the last few months... Unfortunately now I have to double-check every single time it's delivered to make sure that it's ours and it's a good thing that I have because there's been a couple times where it's not our pie. They have been very understanding and even left to go get the right pie and came back putting other orders on hold I'm sure... Which we appreciate... But it is a little Annoying that I have to go out of my way to double-check their consistency with the delivery and the order taking now... I wouldn't let that deter you from going there to eat because like I said... I'm giving them five stars specifically because their food is just that good. Customer service is tricky... Not even Geico has a 100% satisfaction rate. If you live in Fair Lawn and you haven't tried Ray's Pizza yet... get...

It takes a lot for me to leave a bad review but I couldn’t let this go. I went to Rays pizza today and I will never be going back. All because of the management at this establishment. After receiving my food I asked the waiter for some Parmesan cheese and the table next to me asked for ketchup. The waiter then attempted to get those two items for us but was unable to because of a failure in management skills. A man who I assume was the manager was shouting the waiters name repeatedly while he was already busy attending to the dinning room. Then in a very loud and condescending manner said “what are you doing?!”. The waiter was then told to do a number of other tasks. It took 10 minutes before he was finally able to get the things we asked for. This was all while 3 guys stood behind the counter doing barely anything. This sole waiter was taking orders, bringing food, answering the phone, taking payments and cleaning tables all by himself. It’s down right insulting to watch the manager snap at his only employee who is doing the bulk of the work. The manager severely lacks in the most important attribute in management which is leadership and should be ashamed of himself. I hope the manager reads this because he needs to take a long look in a mirror and reflect on what I can see is a piss poor excuse of his job position. It’s too bad because the food...
