HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! This is the second time I’ve dined here, the first time, trying the squid and pork bomb dish that was mediocre at its best (there not even being pork in the dish which highly disappointed me the first time). I just had dinner for the second time to try their bestsellers which are their 떡뽂이 platters. The rose teokbbokki was good, however when asking if I could place an order for extra ramen noodles on the side, the cashier working rudely said no and that they only cook the ramen noodles with the dish. I didn’t understand as they were just plain ramen noodles that can be tossed in a pot of boiling water and served as a side which most Korean restaurants tend to do. For some odd reason, this place doesn’t seem to offer that option or she just didn’t want to do it. She was pretty adamant on the fact that I couldn’t place a side order for plain ramen noodles and so I asked to speak with the manager to gain some clarity if this were true and again, she so rudely responded with “no”. Before I placed my order, I asked her “what comes with the dish” and she replied “look at the picture”, which took me aback for sure. She also seems way too occupied with her phone rather than doing her job and greeting customers. My advice, I feel like whoever is working the front of the house is crucial in having a successful business. I implore you guys to acquire or retrain the cashier that...
Read moreUpdate: yup. I got food poisoning. 1 star. I'm never going back here again. Please read the remaining review for details.
I know this is a food vendor inside of a grocery chain but this is hands down one of the worst ramen I had in a long while. Customer service is lackluster (some old Korean uncle who is not interested in working, beef is not flavored at all, the broth tastes like a shin ramen packet but is weaker since they put way too much water (not a broth), and the vegetables taste like frozen vegetables thawed into the broth which makes the taste even weaker. They didn't bother adding more soy sauce, sugar or hell even hot sauce would have made it better. I swear to God if I get food poisoning from this, I will update...
Read moreGot a large Beef Brisket Topokki - perfect for 2 people and it was delicious (& a bit spicy!) we thoroughly enjoyed sharing this large pan of beef, ramen, tteokbokki, shredded scallions, fish cakes, egg & dumplings. The flavor has a nice kick and I definitely needed more water but I wouldn’t change the spice level. I also got a Kimchi Triangle rice ball but was too full to eat it! I dream of this now and can’t wait to come back to try some of the other flavors.
We luckily came on a Saturday around 2pm so it wasn’t busy or crowded in the food hall at Hmart so seating was easy to get. We also got a cup of the Mango Ade which...
