My Thai Fairfax — Restaurant in Fairfax

If you read my earlier review, you’ll know that we’ve been trying lots of Thai places. I’m updating this because we’ve been here several times now. My favorite remains the fresh roll.

I got the fresh rolls. 5/5! So fresh and all veggies except for a very thin rice paper wrapper part way up. I’d order these every day.

My husband ordered the duck. 5/5. So flavorful, tenderly, not fatty at all. It came with a beautiful medley of fresh steamed veggies. Perfect. He’d order it again, soon.

On a repeat visit, my husband ordered the trout. It was very flavorful beautifully prepared came with lovely fresh vegetables that were delicious and a sauce that I used for my fresh rolls because it was so yummy. The only complaint with a trout Is that whoever prepared? It didn’t know how to properly the bone trout and it was a struggle for him or anyone to pick all the tiny bones out.. So flavor five out of five effort required to enjoy two out of five.

This is my all time favorite Thai restaurant! It was among my favorites before it changed ownership, so I was worried when it sold. But if anything, it has only gotten better. It’s clean, nice atmosphere, quick service, and it’s one of very few restaurants with large enough portions to satisfy my very large appetite, all at a reasonable price.
