I enjoyed the tour given by none orher than Charley Kelly...it was a pleasure meeting him and the three other guys...all cool dudes!...the bikes are seriously the collectable kind...Original Klunkers, and history period examples leading up to contemporary MTB's...no eBikes yet. Also, a loaned old, old, old, private collection shows a 1865 'stryder' style bike, and a lot of other cool antique ones too. A lot of nice old 1960's, 1970's, and 1980's road bikes. My favorite on display was the Cunningham aluminum ones...also were Joe Breeze and Tom Ritchey bikes from way back. The Klunkers were cool...Cunningham to me showed some very unique design and innovation that just to me was really cool to see in person. I am a Ritchey fan too. Joe Breeze is god. I really enjoyed it.

My partner and I were in town for the day before heading up the coast to a family wedding, we knew we had to stop by. What we thought would be a quick peruse of vintage bikes turned out to be a tour from Joe Breeze. My partner and I were just silently fangirling. What a special treat that was. Joe is an awesome dude and we learned so much more than we expected. I wish we could’ve spent more time in downtown Fairfax to check out their upcoming swap (that was the next day), but we will definitely be back and next time we’re bringing our bikes. Thank you to Joe and the rest of the staff for an awesome experience. Everyone was so welcoming and excited we were there. Yay bikes!!!

Wow! What a fantastic museum made all the better with the amazing knowledge of Joe Breeze😊 what a truly great tour guide. I loved hearing all about his stories and origins of the mountain bike. I could have listened to Joe all day, what a guy. The lovely lady when we arrived gave us a wonderful greeting as well as tip's on trails for tomorrow when we hire mountain bikes (over from Lincolnshire UK). I can't recommend this enough, my husband and 16 year old son had a great time. Thank you so much, keep your love and enthusiasm going, this has absolutely been a highlight of our 3 week holiday 😁 Definite 5* from us.

This was the first time I had been to the museum, and wasn't sure what to expect. There's ample free parking, and it's at a great location. I was greeted by a very pleasant woman, paid the reasonable price for admission, and began to look around at the numerous bicycles. There is the option for a group tour, but since I've been involved in cycling for over 35 years I chose to look around on my own. The collection of bicycles was vast, and displayed the technical advances over the years. There is a combination of road and mountain bikes on display. It seemed that there was more emphasis on mountain bikes which is logical because the creators of the museum were some of the original founders of the mountain bike. The best experience for me was that the woman who greeted me is the wife of Joe Breeze. In addition, Joe Breeze was there at the time I visited the museum. During the years that I raced both road and mountain bikes I had the opportunity to ride with the group of riders that created the mountain bike. I had ridden with Joe Breeze quite a few times, so I went up to introduce myself. We ended up talking for over an hour. It brought back so many great memories, and I got caught up on how all the other riders were doing. The feeling I got was that the people that started the museum love cycling, and enjoy interacting with the people that come to visit. The museum is expanding, and there will be more bicycles to see in the near future. I highly recommend going and learning about the history of cycling, and seeing how bicycles have advanced...
