Nai Brother Chinese Sauerkraut Fish — Restaurant in Fairfax

I've eaten here quite frequently since moving to the area... probably close to once a week. Unfortunately yesterday, I got food poisoning from ordering their Fuzhou peanut noodles and fish ball. I started feeling sick roughly an hour after consuming the food, but I thought maybe I was just too full. Later, I started to feel progressively worst and ended up throwing up hours later. Then, I threw up AGAIN in the middle of the night. This experience has been unpleasant and I wouldn't wish up upon anyone.

This is a new Chinese restaurant for sliced fish fillets located inside the Great Wall Supermarket. We ordered the signature soup and a spicy dry pot. The price was reasonable and both the dry pot and soup were good.

Seating is located in the food court. We arrived at noon on Saturday. A lot of seats were available.

It's an acquired taste, Nai Brother cooks the sauerkraut fish well, very tender. However, the sourness and spiciness tend to overwhelm the main ingredients (fish, shrimp etc) so you can't tell how fresh the meat is. Worth trying to see whether this is your cup of tea.
