Save the headache. No heat in the the restaurant in March when it's 35 degrees out. I'm Korean and the server was rude and sarcastic. Asked if a certain dish had an ingredient and she told me to look at the menu. New mgmt, new menu , bare decor and pretty expensive compared to other Korean restaurant in the area. Would not accommodate when asked if we could get the seafood & beef tofu soup without seafood which was mediocre at best. 15 min after waiting and no side dishes / banchan at a Korean restaurant is pretty darn bad. When the banchan finally did come out it was bare minimum. Severs couldn't remember who ordered what. Rice porridge was more like rice in hot water with poorly minced vegetables . Kalbi dol sot ( kalbi with with veggies in a bit stone pot was also bleh

Lots of great variety of foods to choose from. The best part is you can grill yourself any meats you want. The stone pot dish was very intriguing and hot, with the food in a stone pot that remained warm. My personal favorite was the broiled Salmon in teriyaki, which was a surprise and was very delicious. They also gave a lot of side dishes like pickled radish, pickled cucumbers, kimchi, etc. Overall, the layout of the food was impressive and they offered a big quantity.

I frequent this place quite often. Probably twice or more per month for lunch. I usually get the lunch box which is served weekdays only. There are a variety to choose from like salmon, spicy pork, galbi (beef short ribs), bulgogi (beef), and more. My favorites are the spicy pork, galbi, and salmon. Very consistent taste, good portion, and service has always been good and cheerful.

Not impressed. Food was good..service not so much. My mother asked for more kimchi, the waitress says we still have some left so when it runs out she'll bring us more. It was about all gone, but regardless, if the customer wants more, it should be accomodated, don't treat us like children. She was stingy with napkins as well. Also when we checked out, I presented my gift card. It had $50.00 on it, never used it. Well it came up on their machine declined. The lady says it's because there's no money on it. I called the card company right then and there, I tried to let her listen on the phone as it was saying there was 50.00 on it. Instead of telling me that the card is used up, she should have said 'for whatever reason, your card is coming up declined'. That would have been a better approach dealing with the customer. Either she didn't know what she was doing with my card or their card machine is old or bad. I used it at a gas station to fill up with no problem after leaving there. It was a bad experience. This is the first time ever I am writing a review. Thanks...

I haven't been to Meega for at least a couple years, pre-COVID. Brought a friend to try the traditional bulgogi, which can't be found anywhere else in nova. Unfortunately our experience was disappointing. First off, the BBQ prices across the board are exceedingly overpriced. There are way too many KBBQ restaurants in nova to be priced this high ($22 pork belly, $38 galbi). Second, regardless how many orders you choose, they are not cooking in front of you - only if you order 2+ orders of the $38 galbi. This really defeated the purpose of the traditional Bulgogi. The kitchen cooked one just wasn't the same experience. It's a shame because the bulgogi taste is just as good as I remember from years back. We also ordered a galbi tang, in which most of the meat had been stripped off so it was really just bone. Not sure if all these changes are due to COVID, but other restaurants have not changed their offerings while raising prices - it's stingy and takes away from the food. Needless to say, we won't be coming back unless service goes back to the way it...

Visited here with a friend from a different state. She visited my husband and I to congrats us. So we thought of treating with some nice Korean food. Well, I regret taking her here. The food we wanted was DENIED by the server (Yes, denied. She said the meat we ordered is not great. The seasoned ribs are the best there. So we ordered what she recommended us.) The food she recommended was not even fresh!!!!!!! The meat smelled like it was just buchered or it's been thawed for hours. The side dishes were all dried up. The food price was way too high for the food and service quality I had. Just awful.

I know how Korean food tastes or even smells like because I eat it every day here in NOVA, but THIS IS SO NOT a good Korean bbq place to go.

The service is very rude. (FYI, don't expect them to refill your water cup because they are busy taking naps in the back or something.)

Will never visit here...
