Skip an I stepped out the other night to get a drink, haven't done it in a while. Had NO IDEA that it wasn't called Jen's anymore but that didn't make a difference we still had a good time! We have some friends that had told us about the "BIG" burger that you serve, an that we needed to try it lol!! Did we took their word for it and tried it, it was really good, not as big as we thought but the flavor was really good!! The service we got was great and really friendly an our food was fresh and hot, just like we like too lol!! If you're looking for an authentic old school bar, Jen's is it. The windows are tinted, it's dark, the walls are black, and covered in beer advertising. The bar is gigantic and seats at least 25 people. What was surprising is how absolutely clean it is! Spotless! Extra bonus... they have a full menu and a full kitchen that serves until 9:00 p.m. I got the burger it was fantastic. Homemade patty with two slices of American cheese... It was so good. My only criticism is that they didn't have dessert. I was willing to pack on some extra calories, because with food that fresh I'm sure the desserts would have been baller. The bartenders are very unprofessional the first bartender didn't ID any of us properly and then the second bartender a female bartender had an issue with a government issued paper license even though she had a government issued license that was expired but she had both forms of proof. She had an attitude as soon as handed the paper form and even had a conversation with the first bartender and he said he didn't check it. We brought our first drink cups back.
